Cheap and cheerful hotel in the center of Batu city

Actually the hotel is good. It seems that this hotel was glorious in its time but is now poorly maintained.I stayed overnight on August 9 2024. The first impression was horror because of the lack of lighting at night. Parking is quite spacious. Friendly staff.The room looks dirty. When you enter the room it is not clean, there are no signs of the room being cleaned/it smells like it has been sprayed with perfume.The floor is dirty, lots of dust and some lizard droppings. On the bed sheet, there is 1 lizard droppings. The bed sheets looked dirty like there were traces of blood or tomato sauce. The brown blanket smells like it hasn't been washed. The pillow smells musty.When I entered the bathroom there was a big frog above the bathroom door. But fortunately the staff was quick to catch the frog. Asking to move rooms, there was no response from the staff.In the room there are 2 bath towels provided, quite fragrant and clean. There is a TV, there is AC but I don't know whether the AC is working or not because I don't use it. The temperature in Batu is already cold. Mineral drinks, coffee, tea and the like are not provided. Toiletries such as soap, shampoo and toothbrushes are not provided.The intention was to choose this hotel, apart from the cheap price because it has a swimming pool. It turned out that when we arrived at the Zonk hotel, the pool was there but there was no water. So my child, who was initially happy and wanted to swim after arriving at the hotel, became sullen because he couldn't swim.Cleanliness needs to be improved in the rooms and around the hotel rooms.This hotel is actually good if it is maintained and cleaned. Hopefully this criticism and suggestions help.

It's actually a good hotel, if it is maintained well and regularly. At a price of 180 per 2 people, it's quite decent to stay.

the hotel is like an old hotel but the room width is very satisfying, the double bed is large, the service is standard, the vibe is like a haunted house especially the bathroom but over all okay the location is quite strategic
