There’s a restaurant where you can eat even if you don’t stay at the resort.
A very nice place, cozy food and friendly people.
Good menu, also lots of options for vegetarian diets.

The place is wonderful, romantic. By the calm sea. The food is excellent. Watch out for the prices! because everything is counted extra. We were surprised 😲 on the final bill!

Sunset Cottages is a real slice of paradise!! The setting is beautiful, right on a lovely black sand beach which is perfect for swimming and which, true to the name, has great sunsets! The bungalows are very clean and comfortable, the staff are very kind and helpful, and the food is amazing and very affordable - some of the best fish we've had all trip! Great spot if you want to dive the wreck also as it's right off the shore by the guesthouse. Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! Thank you Hendrik and team for a lovely stay :)

Totally relaxing. Right on the beach. I first stayed here in 2008 and have been back quite a few times since. Simple, clean accommodation. Go to sleep to the sound of gently lapping waves. Great food prepared by chef, Aldi. Clean beach. Lush garden. Cold beer Great people.

The family is very welcoming and helpful. The resort is very clean and well-kept. You sleep in small basic huts right on the beach and there are beautiful coral reefs for snorkeling.The food is delicious and I had no problems as a vegan. However, the homestay is about 40 minutes away from Maumere town. If you are looking for peace and nature, this is the place for you.The homestay is highly recommended.
