All the reviews are quite correct. This hotel has seen its better days. It's old and not very well maintained. Which is a pity, because of its location - close to all the bars and restaurants and the marina, so it's perfect for starting/ending a Komodo tour.Breakfast is included in the price, but I'd suggest you find other place in town.I wasn't satisfied with the cleanliness (the sheets and towels were ok, but the rest was a bit so so - they left trash from the previous guest, the sink was dirty...).If I would stay here again it would be for location.But the staff was nice, so shout out to them.

Basic hotel but in a great location. Keep expectations low, and you should be fine. Rooms are very spacious, but the quality of maintenance needs work, especially the bathrooms. The toilet doesn't flush well. There is a permanent smell, and the shower area doesn't drain out either. The air conditioning in the room is ok, and the safe can only be accessed with keys and not a digital lock. I never ate breakfast in the hotel as there are way many choices within minutes. The location is the best part as you are close to several restaurants as well as the harbour from where your tours begin. The staff are a bunch of girls who are always smiling and willing to help. Street noise can be a nuisance and early morning prayers can disturb your sleep.

First of all, this is the worst hotel on this trip in Indonesia.I received a message from a friend 2 hours before checked in, telling me that the water pipe in room 11 of the hotel she stayed in last night was broken, there was no hot water, and then there was no running water. So when I checked in and asked for the room number, and they told me it was room 11. That's when I asked the front desk if the water heater and pipes were fixed? Only then did the front desk staff tell me that the water heater in this room was broken and there was only cold water.This behavior is very dishonest.I asked for cancellation or extra money for another room, but the hotel refused my request.They refused to cancel the booking, the only thing they could do is the room fee minus 100k rupiah, if I do not accept, I have to find another hotel and pay the room fee.In the end, because it was too late, I accepted.At the same time, I booked a car to the airport at 7am the next day, and the front desk confirmed that it must be on time.Unfortunately, there was no car at all at 7am the next morning, and the front desk was replaced by two girls who had no idea about yesterday's transport booking.Anyway, this hotel is dishonest, and broken promises, and highly unrecommended.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful, the location is great, theRoom can be a little noisy and the bathroom a little dated but it's ok, the bedding is good.To all the haters who complain because there may not be cold water or there are steps in the entrance, you have to change country. Indonesia is not supposed to accommodate your rich whims. It is the culture of a country that should matter to you.
