We rented a motorbike from Mariano in Labuan Bajo at the Divers Paradise Komodo. Even though we did not book in advance, he organized everything immediately. We left one backpack there and Mariano shipped it to Lena House (on the other side of Flores, close to Maumere). Great service, it allowed us to actually travel by motorbike.The motorbike, Honda, was of good quality with vital safety systems which I appreciated and tires in good conditions. It had 39'000 km and was in general good conditions.8 days later we arrived at Lena House. Everything went well, the backpack was there and we spoke to Didakus, who was very friendly and welcoming with us.

Great stay here, very clean room. Quiet and relaxing setting, possibility of eating on site at a fair price and large portions.It is also possible to rent scooters one-way (Maumere to Labuan Bajo)

The room and the bathroom were really clean.They offer a breakfast and meal service (lunch and dinner). The dishes are really good and inexpensive.They also offer to rent scooters which are maintained very regularly.The owners are very friendly and welcoming.We had a very pleasant stay, we highly recommend!

Very nice, I arrived and asked for a room but they were fully booked but because I really needed they rented me a room that usually they dont rent, for a cheaper price. Very nice location and breakfast also. Friendly staff and owner.

We haven't been in Maumere but we rented a scooter from Didakus to go one-way to Labuan Bajo. As we couldn't fly to Maumere, we had to start from Ende. The scooter got deliverd to Ende for a small fee.We returned it 6 days later at Divers Paradise Komodo in Labuan Bajo. We already were the week before in Labuan Bajo and could leave some luggage there. Marian from Divers Paradise was also really nice and helpful.

A few days spent in this corner of paradise. The place is exceptional. At the bottom of the bay, lulled by the rhythm of the tides and the sunsets.The owners and staff are great, attentive and helpful. Good advice for organizing your days if necessary but discreet at the same timeThe bungalows are clean and maintained. Quite hot during the day, no air conditioning here just a fan but we get used to it. Fortunately there are mosquito nets in good condition on the beds because there are mosquitoes as often under this attitude.. 😅.Very positive point, the catering is great, very good, fresh and well cooked. The fish dishes are excellent. These are fresh products, so you have to anticipate and order before you get hungry!Breakfast times well respected. The breakfast omelette is excellent.The black sand beach is not exceptional but still pretty, with a small coral garden a few meters away for lovely snorkeling sessions.Scooter rental in good condition possible at a fair price and above all with the possibility of making the trip to Labuan Banjo in "one-way" for 400k extra.

Excellent service!! - Great service!!I rented a scooter to travel from Lena house to Labuan Badjo.On the said day the Honda scooter, almost new, well equipped and in excellent condition was ready, I left my big backpack which they were responsible for shipping to Labuan Badjo!!After 8 days, and more than 600 km without any problem, a superb ride and great encounters I arrived at my destination.I returned the scooter to “diver paradise” (very warm welcome!) where my backpack was waiting for me!I rented a scooter to travel from Lena house to Labuan Badjo.On the said day the Honda scooter, almost new, well equipped and in excellent condition, was ready. I’m writing a review for the scooter rental service…You can rent a one-way scooter here so you can ride from Labuan Bajo to Maumere (or vice versa) without having to ride all the way back. They will also send your luggage for a very small fee.All worked smoothly for us and we flew out of Maumere!Marian in Labuan Bajo is based at Divers Paradise, and extremely lovely and helpful. We chatted to him for ages, really interesting man with a huge heart.Didakus in Maumere also very helpful with getting us to the airport. They made the whole process very easy and stress-free! Thank you!

Lovely bamboo bungalow on the beachside.
You can go snorkeling close by and rent a motorbike.
Thank you we did enjoy our stay at Lena house and we will come back.

Super welcoming and warm family.Simple but clean room.Peaceful place.Very very good food! (The best we found on our entire trip to Flores)The owner organized a day for us on a boat and explained how to climb Mount Egon (and even gave us his number in case we had a problem)Possibility to rent scootersI 100% recommend this accommodation, it was perfect

Very good experience at Lena houseWe spent 2 days in Maumere before our roadtrip through Flores. We rented a scooter there and dropped it off at Labuan bajo. This is clearly the best way to visit Flores, we were not disappointed. We have or send a bag directly to Labuan bajo so as to travel lighter. Everything was extremely simple to organize thanks to the managerOur bungalow was very pleasant. Very quiet and relaxing place.Good breakfastsWe did a one day boat trip to the islands opposite, everything was very goodEvening restaurant available, very goodI recommend +++

We only booked a snorkeling tour here. About 300k including equipment and food per person (750k for the boat, 35k lunch 50k for equipment).Usual price is at least 2000k per boat for 2 people so here it's much cheaper.Don't expect much komfort. Just the usual wooden boat with shade roof that brings you to the famos snorkeling spots. No transport. They picked us off at Lena house and dropped us off 10km to the east in Nangahale because, allegedly, engine problems. Anyway good trip, good price. The others even saw a shark and a manta ray.

I hired a Honda Vario motorcycle for a one way journey to Labuan Bajo. Didakus the owner who speaks excellent English sorted me out with the bike and a straight forward contact. The bike was in good condition and was dropped off the his brother Marianus who works at Divers Paradise Komodo. Bikes can also be rented from here at Labuan Bajo.

The owner is haughty and not friendly. We rented scooters which we had to pick up early in the morning. The owner confirmed to us that he opened from 5:30 a.m. We arrived at 7:30 and he told us the scooter wasn't ready. He notified us by text message of a tire problem but we didn't have the internet to see it. The scooter was there and ready but he told us he was missing a helmet. We asked to get a helmet elsewhere because we had to leave early but he said that was not possible and asked us to wait until 8:30. When he returned at 8:30 a.m. he took a helmet on another scooter (so the helmet was there from the start). He was just trying to annoy us.Otherwise the scooter was OK just a little difficult to start but with the kickstarter it works.We did not test the rooms.

Had a great time here, beautiful place to wind down and relax.The bungalows were spacious and clean, the beach front was lovely and not something you can get close to Maumere.The breakfast was always delicious and everybody very helpful and kind.

The bungalow was absolute clean, the while area was well looked after and of course there were the people who make the place so welcoming. Didakus, his wife, Fred, they were all the time helpful and had great advice. The setting is especially in the evenings spectacular with the sunset. The only thing not too nice is the small beach with a mixture of mud and black sand and also sometimes some plastic. But for swimming it is absolutely no problem. Food was also pretty good and as it was a few meters away from the main road, very quiet. Just birds in the morning and the waves.

Lovely people. Rooms are a little tired, but you expect that at this price point.Had dinner at the restaurant and it was so-so, although I don't know if that's because they're dumbing it down for western tastes or because they're not great cooks.They offer one-way scooter hires to labuan bajo for 100k/dayI'd definitely stay again if I was back this way

Great place if you want to get out of town, right on the beach. There are 3 cabins which are in good state with good bathrooms. The people are super friendly, help with anything and speak good english. The food of the menu is good and cheap. Just take in account the service it not fast.
