Here you will find a truly extraordinary place in the middle of nowhere. Olivé and his family have created a unique place of peace and take excellent care of their guests. There are also many exciting homemade foods.Leon and Lilli

The place is very beautiful, perhaps the most beautiful and pleasant where I have been in Flores. You can see that great care is taken in the garden and in how the trees are kept.You can rent kayaks for 300k, rooms are 350k and the food is good but not muchEconomic.Some little tips and tricks. First of all we need to eliminate the rooster that lives next to the rooms where we sleep, I don't understand the point. People come there to relax and enjoy the peace of nowhere, not to wake up at 5am due to a very annoying crowing rooster. The other small thing concerns the menu, many choices but few available - I understand that it is very difficult to find the necessary resources, but then you have to adjust the prices compared to the rest of the island as they are a bit high.In any case, I really liked the place.EDIT REPLY: I really appreciate that the products used were all fresh, having said that you have a large space I'm pretty sure that if you want to raise chickens on the ground you can make a small fence perhaps far from where you sleep. That's all. For the rest I understand well, but don't give too Parisian an answer hahaha ;). Take care.

Dream place, Olivier and his family received me like a friend. They took great care and did everything to make me feel good. The place is very pretty and mixes typical with comfort. I ate very well. Thanks again to Olivier for sharing his experience and knowledge of Indonesia, it was great. The only regret is not having stayed longer… thank you for this wonderful break!

Memorable stay in this true haven of peace. It is worth staying there for more than one night because the place is unique. The food is balanced and all the efforts made to found this “ecolodge” are to be supported. Prices remain honest. The lack of network is almost part of the atmosphere! So why rush to Riung? Don't hesitate to stop by!

We discovered 4 Pohon when meeting a traveling couple to eat there and we fell in love instantly! Whether it was the home-cooked meal, the welcome with a smile or the magnificent setting and the little colorful houses that Olivier created from scratch, we immediately decided to come back and spend time here. So we spent 3 nights in this little corner of paradise, enjoying the calm of the place, the delicious cuisine (from breakfast to dinner), moments of discussion on Olivier's incredible travels, evenings with music, magical sunsets... 3 timeless days that you really have to take the time to visit 4 Pohon! Looking forward to coming back to where we felt at home even at the end of the world :)

As soon as we passed the small gate, we felt that we would be happy at Les 4 Arbres. What follows is 3 timeless days in this haven of peace with Olivier, Rensa and Oxana.The feeling of being welcomed by a member of your family for a relaxing stay full of adventure.The kayak ride, the sunset on the beach, and swimming at the dam...moments that we will not forget!Thank you also Olivier for these moments to exchange around an Arak Cocktail, with music in the background, to learn more about your adventures and your life.The food was just delicious, fresh produce, perfect for a change from Indonesian classics.Special mention for the chocolate mousse, the lemon tart, the spaghetti and jen passe... (the whole menu in the end)Thank you again from the bottom of my heart, long live the 4 Trees!
