1. Surah An Naba verse 20:وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًاMeaning: And when the mountains run, they become mirages.2. Surah Al Mursalat verse 10:وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْMeaning: And when the mountains have been reduced to dust,3. Surah An Naba verse 7:وَّالۡجِبَالَ اَوۡتَادًاMeaning: And haven't We fixed the mountains as stakes so that the earth does not shake so that humans can live in peace on it?4. Surah An Naziat verse 32:وَالْجِبَالَ اَرْسٰىهَاۙMeaning: And the mountains He holds firmly.5. Surah At Takwir verse 3:وَاِذَا الۡجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتۡMeaning: And when the mountains are destroyed,6. Surah Al Qariah verse 5:وَتَكُوْنُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنْفُوْشِۗMeaning: And the mountains are like scattered feathers.7. Surah Al Kahf verse 47:وَيَوْمَ نُسَيِّرُ ٱلْجِبَالَ وَتَرَى ٱلْأَرْضَ بَارِزَةً وَحَشَ رْنَٰهُمْ فَلَمْ نُغَادِرْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًاMeaning: And (remember) the day (that day) We traveled through the mountains and you will be able to see that the earth is flat and We gathered all people together, and We did not leave any of them behind.8. Surah Al Haqqah verse 14:وَّحُمِلَتِ الْاَرْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً وَّاحِدَة ًۙMeaning: And the earth and the mountains were lifted up, then they were smashed together with one blow.9. Surah Al Ma'arij verse 9:وَتَكُوۡنُ الۡجِبَالُ كَالۡعِهۡنِۙMeaning: And the mountains are like feathers (which fly),10. Surah Al Ghasyiyah verse 19:وَاِلَى الۡجِبَالِ كَيۡفَ نُصِبَتۡMeaning: And how are the mountains established?11. Surah Al Hajj verse 18:اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَسْجُدُ لَهٗ مَنْ فِى السَono لْجِبَالُ وَالشَّجَرُ وَالدَّوَاۤبُّ وَfor فَمَا لَهٗ مِنْ مُّكْرِمۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاۤ$Meaning: Don't you know that whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth prostrates himself to Allah, as well as the sun, moon, stars, mountains, trees, creeping animals and many people? But many (people) deserve punishment. Whoever Allah insults, no one will glorify him. Indeed, Allah does whatever He wishes.12. Surah At Thoha verse 105:وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلْجِبَالِ فَقُلْ يَنسِفُهَا رَبِّى نَسْفً اMeaning: And they ask you about the mountains, so say: “My Lord will destroy them (on the Day of Resurrection) as completely as possible.13. Surah An Naml verse 88:وَتَرَى ٱلْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَام above إِنَّهُۥ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَMeaning: And you see the mountains, you think they stay where they are, but they move like clouds. (Such is) the action of Allah who firmly makes every thing; Verily Allah is All-Knowing of what you do14. Surah Al A'raf verse 171:وَاِذْ نَتَقْنَا الْجَبَلَ فَوْقَهُمْ كَاَنَّview وَّةٍ وَّاذْكُرُوْا مَا فِيْهِ لَعَلَّك delicMeaning: And (remember) when We raised the mountain above them, it was as if (the mountain) was shaded by a cloud and they were sure that (the mountain) would fall on them. (And We said to them), “Hold firmly to what We have given you, and always remember (practice) what is in it so that you may become pious people.That is the verse about mountains and the greatness of Allah in creating such a dynamic nature. The verses that tell about mountains are actually a reminder to all of us that nature is not silent, but continues to be active until it reaches its maximum point.When an eruption occurs, the situation is exactly as written in the verses of the Koran about mountains. No one feels safe when nature is in turmoil.
