+ The rooms use mosquito nets, to protect against flies+ The bathroom is really spacious+ Direct view of Mount Batur so you can enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset in the room. At night you can see the stars too- The location is a bit difficult to access by car (narrow, steep and damaged road)- It is better to replace the mat with a towel instead of using diatomite so that your feet don't get dirty easily- Breakfast with flies may have to be anticipated by providing candles on the table- Lighting outside the room is lacking- There is no cupboard but there is quite a large storage area in the bathroom, a suggestion might be to provide a small cupboard in the room too

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, we had a lovely stay here. Access road a bit difficult but if you drive slowly even Honda Brio can make it

Because I often stay at Bunbulan (another place), Bunbulan's panoramic view is okay, very grateful for being allowed to reschedule, but we asked to eat in the room, we were not allowed to eat with flies in front, even though there were lots of flies, we still had to eat in front, Even grilling is not allowed in front of the room, even though previously I was staying at Bali Cottage Lake View, Bali Cottage, food delivered to the room was not required to eat with flies and grilling was also allowed in front of the room. We were treated as if this was our first stay 😂And again the bathroom toilet was broken, the soap dish was destroyed, the shower was broken

A great view and also a nice place to stay overnight with very nice owners and staff...unfortunately we had to cancel our offered hike due to the weather, but we were driven to the Batur Natural Hotspring and picked up again...we then spent one night less, but what It wasn't a problem...Ketut organized a driver for us to Padang Bai...otherwise you can also rent a scooter or bike...all in all a nice place for 1-2 nights...

Very nice houses with a view of the volcano. Please note that not every house has such a view, all of them face the volcano, but some of them are a little obscured by the greenery, in my opinion it is still worth staying there. The cottage is very nice inside. Access may be a bit of a problem, but it's easy to get there and the road is bad for about 300m, so it wasn't a big problem for us. The restaurant next to the cottages is good but quite expensive. If you have a scooter, it is better to drive to the town.

We stayed here for 2 days especially to climb the Mount Batur.Katut is the best, he is so kind and will make sure your stay is very chill. He makes u feel welcome.If you need a swim you can make use of the pool at the warung below which is owned by his brother. Just mention you are staying at the panorama view cottage.We had a lovely stay at this place and for the big climb you get out bed around 03:15 and then the climb start at 04:00 at the foot of the mountain with your own private guide arranged by Katut, his good friend with guide you up the mountain and it was absolutely worth it.The food at their warung is nice too. Lovely breakfast and good rice and vegan options if you like.Only downside it that there is a lot of noise. This whole village is based on tourism that will go up the mountain, the noises of the jeeps, dirtbikes, barking dogs. All day and night long. So don’t expect a silent stay.We booked 2 nights, climbed the hill, rent a scooter via Ketut and explored the museum a bit further and do a hotspring. Thats around everything you can do. So keep that in mind.
