Our overnight bus dropped us off at 4am in the morning... I waited a little and showed up at 7am at Smiling Face. The owner had barely opened the house, and I was embarrassed to arrive so early. Yet, Kwan (the owner) welcomed warmly ❤️My room was ready already, so she allowed me to check-in earlier than planned. After a well-needed power nap, I borrowed a bike from the guesthouse. You need to give a 1000bht insurance that you will retrieve when checking out (if nothing happened to the bike ofc!)Kwan is a lovely woman, just like her staff. She helped me figure out where the bus stop to Chiang Mai was, and her cooking was amazing. Her guesthouse is very welcoming and peaceful. It was the perfect place to recharge as a solo travelerThank you for everything ❤️❤️

We have just had a wonderful time at Kwan's.She welcomes us perfectly, prepares an excellent breakfast and helps us make the most of our time in Sukhothai. What more good advice!I can only recommend it for a couple or a family.Thanks again Kwan, and sorry we didn’t meet when we left this morning

People are kind. For breakfast, you can choose from a variety of menus. They also arranged a taxi to the new town. There are also ping pong and musical instruments.

A lovely place and really good location, I was able to visit all Historical Parks by bicycle.
If you go there during the weekend you will have the chance to experience the night food market.

Perfect stay here for us, really nice warm friendly welcoming. Gave us fantastic information in the area of where to go, free bicycles were handy to cycle through the historic park (part 1)Very quiet and clean, we ate here most times for lunch as we found the food to be quite delicious actually. We had breakfast included which was fantastic and very good for what you could get.Before we came we found out there was a football game showing in Sukhothai and we got in contact with the staff and they sorted a taxi for us quickly as we arrived the same day. So super helpful and very hard working.I would recommend this area as it’s the old town which is closer to the historical parks and nice little walk into where the restaurants are which were very nice.Thanks 🙏 😃

An almost perfect stay. The hostess and his children are very kind, introduce them clearly, and always greet people with a smile.There are free bicycles to use (although some of them are a bit difficult to ride😂, but the free ones are appreciated).There is free breakfast, which is very rich, and you can choose from different foods, which is delicious. (The longan also helps peel and remove the seeds, which is really considerate)The room was very clean. The only drawback was that the hot water in the room on the right closest to the door (a double bed) was not very hot.Highly recommended.

I stayed here for a room price of 700.As soon as I entered the room, I went to smoke a cigarette in the bathroom.I saw that the bathroom had an air vent.As soon as I finished sucking, the owner knocked on the room and said that smoking is prohibited here.I was really wrong. They actually fined me 2000 baht.Can I give you a discount?They said I couldn't reduce it and it had to be according to the rules.It's gone, brothers.One roll 2000 bahtLeave now, no need to sleep. 2,700฿😭😭😭

Smilingface guesthouse is well located in a local area, just a 5-minute walk from Sukhothai Historical national parkGreat guesthouse with a very friendly owner Kwan and her family.And what a coincidence... Kwan's roots lie in our home region of Ubon Ratchathani.What a service you get here from Kwan and her family, free bicycles with bicycle lock, directions and all kinds of tips about the area, if you wish to visit the park by golf cart, they will arrange for you to be picked up/returned to the guesthouse without any additional charge, good freshly prepared breakfast of your choice, beautiful rooms with air conditioning and private bathroom, parking space, beautiful garden to relax.The location in old Sukhothai is very close to the temples, local market, restaurants, etc.Very good value for money.Can highly recommend this place.Overall a perfect place to stay if you visit Sukhothai Historical Park.

It was perfect. Calm just next to maket and templeOwner and the personal was nice helpful.The room and the bathroom was clean.We can loan bicycle for free, there was baby seat on bicycle.You can eat local breakfast like soup fried rice noodle or continental breakfast sausage egg toast bread.I recommand.

I was very lucky to see their home in Agoda. I happened to have a room a week before Loy Krathong. The hostess was very professional in introducing the historical park. The male host was also very cute and always greeted us. There were markets and supermarkets nearby. It was a few steps away from the historical park. It only takes a few minutes, and there are many massage parlors nearby. The breakfast the next day was delicious. They made it fresh in the morning. I highly recommend staying here in Sukhothai.

Excellent place to rest, it is super close to the center, the breakfast is great and delicious but above all the people who serve are very very friendly and helpful. I would come back again.
