Chronology:- On August 26, I asked via WA for September 7-8 whether there were still rooms available and was given a list by the WA admin of rooms that were still available- On August 27, I booked the Seroja room type via WA for IDR 575,000 and paid 50% down payment, my deposit was IDR 300,000. On the same day I found out that there was an Amerta Giri hotel on Traveloka and I asked for a refund of my deposit from the WA admin because I would book again via Traveloka. The WA admin also replied that the Seroja room type was not open on that date at Traveloka. Even though the Seroja room type is available on Traveloka and the price is IDR 525,000 cheaper. The WA admin also replied like this "When you check in, the payment is according to the Traveloka price, it's okay, sis, if you still get that price when you check in."- On September 7 we (me, my husband and my toddler) left Jakarta at 8 am and arrived at Amerta Giri Wonosobo at half past 5 pm. As soon as I checked in and said the name the receptionist looked shocked. I felt bad because I saw a tourist bus parked in front of the hotel- On September 7 at 5 pm the receptionist informed me that my order was not recorded and gave me the option of booking another accommodation or staying at the Cahaya Asia Hotel (one management with Amerta) but it is located in Wonosobo city. The receptionist also said that my deposit money would be refunded and we would be booked into another accommodation because this was purely Amerta Giri's fault. We did not agree to be diverted to Wonosobo city because the next day, September 8, we planned to go to Dieng- On September 7, at 5 o'clock, we decided to stay overnight at the Pine Seven Homestay right next to Amerta Giri, and I requested to be able to have breakfast at Amerta. This is because I brought a toddler and the reason I chose to stay at Amerta was also because of the variety of breakfast. BUT MY DEPOSIT WAS NOT REFUNDED. THIS MEANS THE RECEPTIONIST'S WORDS ARE NOT CONSISTENT AND TRUSTED.- On September 7 at half past 6 in the afternoon we finally checked in at the Cirrus Seven Homestay. This wasn't on my itinerary. We imagined that after driving 8 hours we could immediately rest in a comfortable place, but it didn't meet our expectations. We also bring toddlers, whose comfort is our priority.— Advice for prospective guests: IT'S BETTER NOT TO BOOK AT AMERTA GIRI. BAD SERVICE. UNTRUSTABLE STAFF.— Suggestions for hotel management: It would be best if there is a large-scale order and requires that a previously booked room be used, we can inform the guests who have already booked and get a refund so that we can also look for other accommodation.— Lesson for us: To be more careful when booking accommodation. Read reviews and always order via OTA instead of via WA admin

There is no AC, even though Dieng is cold, there are certain times when the room is still not cold enough. With the price not being cheap, it would be better if there was ACIt is not soundproof, the sound of passing cars and motorbikes can be heard clearly from inside the room so it is less comfortable, especially at night.The food is less varied, I stayed 3 nights, more or less the same menu every morning.

The rooms are quite clean, the service is also good, fast and friendly, standard food, not many choices but quite tasty... I stayed in room no. 6 back... unfortunately the bathroom smells so it reduces comfort, it's been reported but can't do much.Next time, if you have the opportunity to stay overnight, don't choose the lower back building (6 to 10).But overall quite OK...👍
