Booked 3 rooms and hotel was overbooked. So no space. Aggressive junior boss. Money would not be returned. We would even be threatened because we wanted our money back. Beware... scammers

A place to absolutely avoid. Dilapidated rooms, no possibility of arranging clothing, no toilet paper, soap .... very summary cleaning, extra breakfast for which we had to pay a supplement to have a fruit salad (only coffee and toast or banana pancakes are included - but this is said after you have consumed). The owner is only interested in squeezing the guest and selling excursions. Obviously no sheets, no room makeover, not even the ashtrays were emptied in 3 days..... incorrect and misleading description on the site: the structure is NOT beachfront, nor do the rooms have a "seating area and bidet". Love each other: go somewhere else!

I really enjoy mi time in BL, bugis inn is highly recommended. The staff is awesome, the food is really tasty and the jungle is Amazon.. hope will return soon! Risky and andra are great jungle guides!

The best choice in Bukit Lawang. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean and the food delicious for reasonable money. And what is the most important- trekking in the jungle Bugis Inn organize is worth every money.

Loved Amar and his whole crew. We went for a three day trek and then stayed for a day at Bugis Inn. Couldn't be more greatful for Amar's hospitality. If you in Bukit Lawang, go for the trek with these real jungle boys.
