The brothers who run this place are the best of all! Very kind people and willing to help you with everything. Their lodging are cabins built by their family, which makes them work with more love and attention to their guests.

Fantastically beautiful location here in Bukit Lawang. Andre, Ambri and the whole family take great care of their guests. You feel very comfortable here. Andre organized 2 great tours for me, he also had me picked up in Medan and he also organized the trip to Tobalake for me. The food is also excellent 😋! To my surprise, I received a visitor and help with unpacking on the first day. An orangutan mother with her young 😂. Absolutely peaceful. I would check in here again in a heartbeat. Thanks to everyone for the 5 wonderful days I was able to spend here. 😂🤗!

Great place on the river.

One experience of staying here. New Year with extended family. Even though the hotel can be said to be okay. But you have to think again for those of you who are staying with a group like us.1. The owner is a girl, not really. Not friendly at all, when asked what the wifi password was. The answer was "don't know", we asked if there was a plug but "there isn't one". He couldn't even smile. Even though her husband was extraordinarily friendly and really kind. Moreover, the members are very friendly. That's all right. But look at the female owner, that's enough.2. Accused of not paying for food, even though we had a New Year's Eve bbq, we brought ingredients and fish from home so we just grilled them there. In fact, he was accused of not paying for ordering tilapia fish. When asked who ordered, he said he forgot, he said it was our group. As for who our group is, we just point to them. We definitely won't accept it, if you say you don't pay for eating. The female owner didn't say she was sincere but she was sincere in accusing her while scolding us as a big family. Along the way, we felt like we were being slandered, with our intention of going on a happy holiday, we were even accused of not paying for food.3. At breakfast, we had 5 tables, because there were 5 families, there were in-laws, older siblings, my parents, and my husband's children. We all brought the children. So it was appropriate for us to sit at 5 tables, he said "just sit together, there are people who want to eat". What he said was impolite, "Well, how can we combine them, the chairs won't fit. Until my son sits at the table. And besides, we pay you too. Cook it and combine it like that. It's narrow. Not ready to eat yet.Just a suggestion for the female owner who sits in the canteen. Be friendlier to guests, we pay, don't assume we don't pay. Mom, there are only 6 rooms, we booked 5 rooms, Mom. Why must we be the ones accused of ordering food without paying for it at a mother's cafe. Why wasn't the 1 room person asked, why did it have to be us? On New Year's Eve, lots of guests from outside often come to Ibuk Cafe. Be kinder next time, bro. And definitely we WILL NOT COME AGAIN. Thank You.
