Where should you even start?Great organization of everything! Super helpful and you are warmly looked after! They even give you detailed tips for further travel destinations! Simply incredibly warm people!The taxi transfer was excellent and the planning of the jungle tour was a dream! Rio and Chandra were simply the best! I really struggled with the hike (climbing to be honest)! They were always considerate, warm and gently corrected my stubbornness with the patience of an angel. The camping site for the 2 day tour is another one of most providers and is truly straight out of a Disney film! Simply a dream! They attach great importance to sustainability, separate the waste and take every bit of it back with them! You can tell they simply enjoy offering tourists the best tour and they are happy when you meet extraordinary animals.

Had the most wonderful experience. Super sweet staff!The jungle trek was tough, but being fit is necessary. The 'easy' route as the guides said was still tough, but absolutely worth everything! Saw lots of orangutans, macaques and more!

The room was very clean, with a fan and even though it was very hot outside there was no need for AC, large and clean bathroom with hot water, the garden is very beautiful and green as the name of the accommodation is.Jay and the team are amazing, the guides are also very good.The newly opened restaurant with a quite varied menu and very good prices.Thank you and we'll be back!

A magical experience in the jungle of Indonesia, but more magical are the official local guides (Instagram) @greentravelodge_bukitlawang @bukitlawangguide @Rio_dikaa, Rafi and the great cook Barjan who are aware of all the details that can have an unforgettable experience!!!!! Truly magnificent treatment received in these days in bukit lawang, I take a great memory and I hope to return and see my great friends of the jungle and see them smile, because as Rio says the smile is important!!!100x100% recommended!We saw orangutans up close and different types of wild animals, without disturbing or angering them and always with safety provided by the guides!!!!The guides provided us with food at all times and gave us comfort. !!!!Unforgettable experience, thanks to my jungle friends, I will never forget this experience!!!!

Perfect stay for a jungle adventure with great value for money. Extremely good service, Jay as host arranged everything, from transport to a jungle trek with a fantastic guide (Rio). The room/house was great and the food was delicious. Location on the river was also great.During the jungle trek, Rio ensured that we could experience unique sightings of orangutans, other monkeys and a toucan. Here too we received the ultimate care with fresh fruit and nasi during the trip. Finally, delivered back to the accommodation with a tube through the river. A wonderful experienceIt was perfect!

It is a magical place to visit the jungle. Jay and his team are super friendly and always with a charming smile. The accommodation is beautiful. Felix and his partner Rafli (our guides) have made the trekking very special, worrying at all times about our well-being. They have prepared a delicious lunch and delicious food for us. Thanks to Félix's expertise we have been able to see Orangutans, macaques, Sumatran Peacocks, Gibbons, and the beautiful Rhinoceros Hornbills. And to finish off the trekking, they took us on a fun descent down the river. Without a doubt it is a totally recommendable experience.

This is a very good place to stay and I fully recommend it! The bungalows look better in real life than in the pictures! The staff and service is very nice and helpful, they organise everything you need and help you. Breakfast is very good. You can also book a jungle trekking with them and transfer from the airport.

Everything absolutely great!! Very friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms, and the jungle tour is truly an experience. We did the jungle tour of 3 days / 2 nights ourselves, really cool and super well organised! You must be able-bodied and somewhat fit; there is often a lot of ascent and descent in the jungle in a short time. It was worth all the sore muscles!

Excellent stay in this hotel which we highly recommend: comfort, cleanliness, pleasant welcome, good organization, very good bedding and great breakfast with lots of fruit. Our two-day trek was a magical moment, accompanied by Ari and Selamat, excellent professional guides who did everything to resolve our difficulties and make this trek a wonderful adventure. Very great, clean accommodation with a magical, lovely team! I did a 2 day tour with Green Travelodge and was really impressed. Our guide Dino had enormous knowledge and made the two days very interesting and entertaining. The food and the fun evening with Andres were also great, I was completely happy! Everything is just great and an absolute recommendation 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Green Travelodge. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed, while all the staff were very welcoming making for a wonderful stay.Jay at Green Travelodge is an excellent host who arranged our stay including a 3D2N jungle trek and recommended a visit to the bat cave. Ronnie, our guide through the Bat cave was brilliant showing us areas and wildlife we would have missed had we gone in alone.Our guide on the 3D2N jungle trek, Selamat, was extremely knowledgeable and kind, making sure we had the best experience. Selamat has extensive knowledge of the flaura and fauna of the jungle, expertly navigating a variety of trails. Thanks to Selamat we were able to see over 10 orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys, hornbills, turtles, tree vipers, monitor lizards, among many other types of animal, while learning about the various uses of jungle plants.Alongside Selamat was his assisstant Chandra, an admirable young man, who has knowledge beyond his years.Adan prepared our camps and cooked a variety of amazing meals: marinated chicken, fried tofu, sweet potato and curries to name a few.Bukit Lawang is a lovely and hospitable village. We were welcomed and made to feel at home by everyone. The food in Bukit Lawang was excellent, every meal we had was freshly prepared and some of the best we've had in SEA.We had an amazing experience in Bukit Lawang and the surrounding jungle. We can't give enough positive feedback about this incredible experience. Thank you!

This cottage is superb, I highly recommend it. The staff is particularly welcoming and organized. We had received all the information for the jungle trek by email. They were repeated to us just before departure. The English-speaking guide was able to perfectly manage the level of difficulty so that we could always follow. The guide knows the fauna and flora perfectly. He taught us a lot about nature and the region. He also hosted the evening during the bivouac in the forest. The cook prepared one of our best meals of our stay in Sumatra.The rooms have all the necessary comfort and are absolutely beautiful.The village of Bukit is charming and the people are very welcoming.

Possibly the best place we have stayed during our 7 month world trip.The hotel was super helpful with transport. They made the best egg breakfast. The rooms were clean and cosy.We did the 2 day trek and Selamat was our guide. He had a lot of wisdom and knowledge on the jungle and knew exactly where the Orangutan would be based on trees that were fruiting. I’d recommend having him and Chandro as guides if possible as we saw 12 orangutans across 2 days. Some wild and some semi-wild. The food they made us in the jungle was amazing too.They are building a new restaurant which looks like it will be amazing. And based on their egg breakfasts, I imagine will be very tasty too.

Cozy lodge on the edge of the jungle. The hosts are extremely warm, you immediately feel at home. The breakfast was excellent and all excursions and transfers were organized easily and to my complete satisfaction. The one day jungle trek was a fantastic experience. Thank you everyone 🤍The only thing I missed was a mosquito net over the bed.
