Basic but good enough- Pros -Great location for a jungle trekNice view of the river from the windowRoom was basic but clean, with a small area to put luggageThe bed was a lot more comfortable than the jungle floorThe owner was very kind and helpful and gave us so much info to help us on our way after BLThe restaurant downstairs serves delicious food - specifically the rendangOverall, I would stay again- Cons-No hot water and no AC (However, this is standard in Bukit Lawang)Nearby bars played karaoke until 4am (not owners fault, but something to be aware of)Beds could do with a mosquito net given that there is no AC, which means the windows are open most the time

Saya tidak menginap tapi makan di restorannyaBEST SERVICE dari pak Udin, dan chicken semur terenak setelah semua makanan pedas dari Medan, this resto is the best for you who cant stand with spicy food (like me)Big portion, and dont forget to try their springroll, the sauce is so delicious!Again the service was excellent, he knows what costumers need, fast react and bonus he showed us the Otter on the other side of the river (went there for dinner and lucky we bring our headlamp that the light can focus for long distance 😄)Thank you pak Udin, salam dari Noémie

Very good food at reasonable prices! We went there two times and had different dishes (Rendang, Mie Goreng with chicken, spring rolls, fried banana). All of them were super delicious. The service is also very good and friendly. Payment is only possible with cash like in most places in Bukit Lawang.

We had dinner in the restaurant. The restaurant is centrally and idyllicly located if you are staying overnight in the town. It was the best meal I had eaten in a long time! The portions are large and it tastes incredibly delicious! You definitely have to try it 😊

We stopped for lunch at this lovely restaurant. So fun to watch everyone floating past in the river. We had mie goreng with chicken and the noodles were full of vege and the chicken divine. As well as being tasty, the portion sizes were generous. Recommend!

Perfect guesthouse, large room. A little lack of light. Shared toilets but clean. Perfect river view.We can eat there and the food is delicious. I recommend !

A lovely guesthouse in Bukit Lawang located on the river. Rooms are spacious, clean and stylishly decorated.The food in the restaurant is fantastic. Best Rendang in town is what the sign says. No lies!Owner Udin will help you with everything you need. Udin speaks Dutch, which was very pleasant for us. All kinds of excursions are also organized from the guesthouse. Make use of it!
