This review is specifically for the trek we took. Encik brought my wife and I on a one day trek. Owing to my unfit state, he initially wanted to bring us on a chill walk but we explained how we wanted to see the monkeys and the Orangutans!He so willingly catered to our needs despite me needing way more breaks than most people. He was patient and knowledgeable too.

We stayed here for 1 night. Very positive experience. The rooms were perfectly fine. Then we did a 3-day, 2-night jungle trek. Our guides, Ling and Adi, were very comptent and knew perfectly what they were doing. The jungle trekking was a very educational experience, and with these guides, I would recommend it to anyone. Staff in 'on the rocks' were very friendly.

We (2 people) stayed here for a week. When we arrived I had a lot of problems with my stomach. I was immediately looked after excellently. We were able to postpone the planned multi-day jungle trek without any problems. And do it again 3 days later.The staff here are incredibly hard working, nice and friendly. They take care of everything you ask them to do. The bungalows are clean and very lovingly designed. From small, cozy bungalows to larger ones for several people, everything is available. The internal restaurant has a large selection and the dishes are very tasty. Jungle treks and other things like plane tickets, transportation, etc. Everything can be handled here.It was an unforgettable week here! We can highly recommend it to everyone!

Very comfortable jungle chic bungalow accommodation with helpful, friendly staff who took care of everything (airport pick up, booking a jungle trek etc). The location is on a hill on the outskirts of town, meaning the views over the jungle are beautiful and the overall ambience is calm and restful. Great base to explore the area.

During a tour of a dozen days in North Sumatra, with two of our daughters; organized by the BALI AUTREMENT agency, which I highly recommend!! (for their excellent services, and the choice of all the other hotels) we stayed in this "hotel" .... very poorly located, difficult to ace, very little water ..... in the shower ( which flowed in a trickle from a coconut) room not cleaned during the day...... complaints +++ for clean towels and toilet paper... deplorable hygiene... my daughters were sick.. . I'll give you the details after eating the same dish at the restaurant..... Anyway. to RUN! there are other hotels down in the village, certainly more quality....
