We had a lovely time staying at Umah Ilu. All the huts they have on the property have their own history. The hoasts are really nice and if you need to be picked up from the harbour they'll wait for you.If you're planning to travel around the island I'd definitely recommend renting a scooter. Much easier than relying on local taxis.

The best stay ever. It is like a paradise on the hill. Very good view in the light and amazing night sky in the evening. Definitely recommend it to everyone. Also, be aware of the dogs in the surrounding property. Try to drive slowly at night.

We loved our stay here. The staff picked us up by the port and helped out with scooter rental. They also helped us with transfer and tickets to Nusa Lembongan upon departure🙏🏼😊 We tried the other side of the island too, but we found this area more peaceful and chill. Especially in terms of driving scooter. The breakfast, the view, the rooms - everything was lovely! This place should be on your bucket list if you visit Nusa Penida.

Amazing place nestled in the beautiful & dense hills of nusa penida, this is a must visit for those who long for a quiet and relaxed holiday far from the rush and bustling city life, just 10 min drive from nusa penida harbour, not the regular hotel which one looks to find but this is one which will take you on a relaxed vacation surrounded by the lush green hills with the sea view.

If you come to Panida for vacation, it is highly recommended to stay here for more than three days.This is definitely a paradise. The owner also incorporated the concept of heritage protection at the beginning of the construction and renovated the old stone house. The rooms are also fully equipped.Each house is independent with garden and sitting areaYou can also practice yoga on the platform in the morning. It’s a great experience.The staff also provides free pick-up and drop-off services (with time restrictions) and breakfast is also rich.Highly recommended

One of the hidden treasures of Nusa Penida. A unique stay experience with old style huts with modern amenities. Loved the interior setup n private Jacuzzi. The staff were lovely & breakfast was delicious. 3 star hotel with 5 star experience. Be extra cautious driving to the resort as the roads are steep. One downside of this place is that if you need anything then you need to drive down the hill to pick it up from the restaurant or the supermarket. But over all a amazing experience.

Best place to stay in nusa penida!! We have a really nice bath tub, complete amenities and our own entrance! We love that we have an open space on the 2nd floor too!! And the bean bags!||We had a full American breakfast on our first day and Nasi goreng and pan cakes on our 2nd day

Fantastic resort with only 5 accommodations/bungalows in a large garden area.It's nice to see that not every resort fills every square meter of property with rooms/bungalows. Accordingly, there was privacy and there was no annoying noise from other guests.Our 2-story bungalow had a beautiful view of the sea, the staff was always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast you could choose from 3 dishes, all of which were very tasty.You can reach the beach in just a few minutes by motorbike. Price-performance ratio TOP.

Our group of 4 stayed here for 3 nights. We got a traditional rock house far at the back where we enjoyed 2 beautiful clean bedrooms and spacious shower. Amazing breakfast is served to the room. The house is surrounded by trees and grass, really making for a getaway feeling.The staffs are extremely helpful. They adjusted breakfast time for our needs, drove us to our diving center and offered to pick us up from anywhere on Penida island when we want to return. They also picked us up after our last dive and drove us to the port.TThe only minor problem is that it is located on a mildly steep hill and you are constantly annoyed by dogs barking at you the whole way up. If you are scare of dog, don't go there on foot.

Umah Ilu should be considered a bed & breakfast as there are no other facilities or services onsite. The pool shown is only accessible from one room. Even though Uma Ilu is not located in a busy area it can get quite loud on weekend nights due to the beach clubs located on the foot of the hill.The staff was very helpful (breakfast, scooter rent).Unfortunately the room didn’t not offer much comfort and there was a bad odour from the air condition.Would recommend this accommodation only if you have plans during the day as there isn’t really anything to do at Uma Ilu.

Beautiful accommodation! We had a two-story bungalow with a great sea view. Every morning your breakfast is brought to the bungalow and you can have a leisurely breakfast there.

We had such an amazing stay at Umah Ilu, where we spent 4 nights. This place is like heaven, surrounded by vegetation, with a view on Mount Agung and the sea. The rooms are comfortable, perfectly clean and quiet. The staff is extremely kind and helpful (special thank you to Wayan !!), they will make every effort to meet your needs (transport, massage, laundry). Really nice restaurants all around. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. We will miss this place for sure !

Very elegant and well located accommodation with a great view of the sea. We lived here for 9 days. If you want some peace and quiet and are willing to walk a little longer or use a transport service, this is the right place for you.
