Incredible place. Beautiful views, a short walk to the beach with plenty of bars/restaurants close by. Beds were comfortable and more than sufficient AC. But the best part was the staff! So accommodating, friendly, overly respectful. Plenty of space to hang out together or separately

Incredible Villa, beautiful location, outstanding accommodations and a staff that treats you like their Bali family. Walking distance to white and black sand beaches, restaurants and shops. Great diving, defines world class. Driver Golo is a gold mine of information for site seeing. A month there was not enough, cannot wait to return to Villa Candi Matahari.

My wife and I stayed here (by happy accident, in August 2018). We had booked a different Villa in Amed, but was told when we arrived that it was double booked. Luckily, we found this little Oasis.Lovely, spacious rooms, relaxing outdoor showers, amazing views and very friendly staff. We would love to return!

Villa candi matahari was the nicest place I have stayed at so far in my travels. We ended up getting the villa to ourselves which was really cool and relaxing. The architecture of the villa was amazing, my favorite part was our outdoor shower in the penthouse suite. It was made of all stone and the water literally flowed off a rock. That was the first time I had ever used an outdoor shower and it was very freeing and serene. The rest of the villa had really cool Balinese decorations which really set the stage for immersing into the culture. The suite itself was super comfortable, waking up to the ocean every morning was so beautiful with the sunrise coming up over the ocean! We swam in the pool everyday, and we loved having a mini fridge accessible to stay hydrated in that hot sun! 😉The staff was incredible! Sri, the manager, made sure we always had everything we needed and always had a smile on her face and happy to help us. She also helped me put some thing special together for my boyfriend for our anniversary. She made it very special for us. The chef Iluh was fantastic! Everything she made was so tasty! And she always had a huge smile on her face even when I asked for tons of ice cream and bananas all day!Olive was our housekeeper, she always made our room feel nice and comfortable and clean. ...we never had to worry about leaving stuff out or around. She went ahead and folded and put everything away which was great to come back to from a long day.And the boys always were there to help day and night. They made us feel safe and secure at night.Paul and Stacey are amazing owners , they came to great us on our first day and now we will have lifetime friends from Bali.Everyone there at the villa candi matahari was superb! They are truly a 5-star Villa.
