Survival Mentawai Surfcamp

My worst experience in Indonesia.I have come to Indonesia 6 times to surf and visit, because the people and the landscapes are the bomb, we arrived at survival Mentawai and we were thinking of staying 10 days but we only stayed 3 when we saw the attitude of the owner..., let me explain:According to the website we were going to have our own bungalow with a private bathroom, and nothing could be further from the truth, since we shared it with a German couple (the bathroom and the bungalow). We arrived at the bungalow and everything was super dirty like the previous ones. clients, we kindly asked them repeatedly to clean the room or at least the bathroom, as it was full of mold and cockroaches were coming out of the drain.The bungalow smelled terrible, the stairs were broken and rotten, the bathroom was green with mold, the food was scarce and not very varied, no fruits and vegetables, cockroaches inside the bungalow due to dirt... in short, a disaster.We were without electricity for 3 days, and the reason was the lack of gasoline from the generator..., a power surge, destroyed our chargers and broke another guest's mobile phone, in short, a major disaster for a scam price total!!! 60 euros per person.When talking to the owner and reproaching him for not complying with what was established on the website, he became defensive shouting.... a scoundrel who is not capable of making the O with a joint....We asked him for a discount and he said no, so we decided to leave, and as luck would have it, right next door there is another NEW hostel, called Tosca house, which does what it offers and charges 20EUR per person. Very good people, they helped us a lot and we had the vacation we wanted at a more than fair price.The only good thing about survival Mentawai is that apart from really being literal “survival”, it was the employee, Supri, who helped us with everything and is a good guy, but given the stinginess of the owner, the hostel is not in a condition to be inhabited by no one.Tom (owner) is a very careful guy!!I hope that my experience serves to warn future travelers to avoid the scam of this Caradura.
