July 2017 – family holidayFor us the essence of Bilou Beach is just getting off the grid – a place to relax, re-connect and rejuvenate.Daily activities are varied; from exhilirating world class surf through to epic beach chilling (check out Bilou’s crazy diving dogs) – followed by fun evenings at the beach bar, the odd barbecue in front of our villa or just supper on our deck……and then ZZZZZ.The result; a tanned, fit and healthy family with fully-charged batteries.Bilou Beach is the bomb, thanks to the resourceful Malherbe family who make it all happen. I couldn’t rave more about what a fantastic time my girlfriend and I had at Bilou. Chantelle and Gideon were so accommodating and made sure we had a great time. The amenities were great and the kitchenette set up was superb allowing us to dine on our own time. The waves were a blast and we had plenty to do when the surf wasn’t pumping. Thank you Chantelle and Gideon we will definitely be coming back !!!

The fruit bowl and hot bread every morning were amazing. Bed was very comfortable and no issues with mosquitoes as the net over the beds and mosquitoes spray provided by Belou protected us from any bites. …

Amazing trip. Very friendly and accommodating hosts and lots to do. Surfed, dived, fished, sup’d and snorkeled. Perfect for group of surf mates and also great value for money. They’ve figured out the perfect setup to guarantee an amazing experience. Each villa gets its own boat and driver. Definitely will go back without hesitation.

Chantelle and Golla were stunning hosts in this piece of paradise, the waves, the reefs, the mangroves, beautiful sunsets - was an incredible holiday and every day I wake up and think how I’m going to go back there as soon as I can. Accommodation was all you need and the good set up was perfect.

Brilliant trip with a bunch of mates, mostly for surfing with loads of waves to choose from. Bilou would also be perfect for families though , great snorkeling, speafishing, fishing, adventures etc. Accommodation was very comfy, food great, and hosts are superb!

Perfect set up for our surfing needs with having your own boat for your group to get to any of the surf spots on offer at any time which no other resort on the mentawais offer, therefore maximising the quieter times when there are less …
