Dirty rooms and bathroom.
Linen/towels stained and wet. Staff refused to change these.
There is no reception, no one answered any message answering our enquiries.
Not recommended if you really want to relax while in Nusa Penida.

They took away the possibility of reviewing on Booking, unfriendly staff, excellent location if you want to go to the beach and useless for anything else. There are other places nearby if you really want to go there that are better

2* hotel so we have been warned. But it's more than spartan, there isn't even a cupboard to store your belongings, the bathroom is aging, traces of humidity everywhere, the toilets are old.The welcome is ok but not very present (good for finding a taxi), the service good, the breakfast nothing more (1st time without fruit or fruit juice). The bedding very good.The strong points are the location, the exterior and the calm.We are less than 10 minutes walk from Crystal Bay (lots of fish snorkelling) by going straight (shortcut) and there are warungs nearby (Bale lumbung very good)

Great hotel for your money. If you expect rixos-level stars from 2 stars, then of course you have big demands)Clean bed, towels, calm and quiet, close to the beach. The toilet and shower are in generally acceptable condition.They served a delicious breakfast, the owners were very nice people, they greeted us and offered us a glass of fresh juice.Highly recommend as a budget holiday option

Good hotel for your money. As stated it is, 2 stars, everything in fact. A good welcome, when we met we were treated to fresh juice. The location is convenient, 5 minutes from the beach, there are good restaurants nearby. Nice courtyard where you can have breakfast. There is a veranda where you can sit in the evening. Wifi is excellent

An establishment which has its charm, it is undeniable, however it is a little Spartan.The toilet seat was in poor condition... The shower also lacked a good cleaning.When we arrived, no electricity or wifi (quickly resolved)Otherwise the setting is very pretty, the owners are not very present but friendly.Breakfast without real interestThe big positive point is its location, 10 minutes from Crystal Bay.

I will just relate what happened to my girlfriend and me during our stay in Rurus. I am not blaming anybody, I will not mention any names. But it was a bad thing and I cannot leave it unmentioned. Here it goes.One night we went to have dinner to one of the two restaurants that are close to the bungalows. I am 100% certain that I had locked the door of my room, but when we came back the door was half open. This was strange enough for us to be suspicious, but everything seemed to be in the right place, money, cell phone, go pro, etc. So after checking the room and seeing that our valuables were in place we went to sleep.It wasn't until two days after checking out that my girlfriend realised that there was money missing from her bag, 700 usd. She hadn't realised it before because the burglar was clever enough not to take all the money, but just some. And the burglar having been so careful in not mixing anything up, makes me think that he knew exactly where to look (it is well worth mentioning here that Rurus has cleaning service in the rooms every day). That's all I am going to say about this. You can draw your own conclusions.After this incident, saying that because the taxi was half an hour late the day we needed to go to the harbour and thus we lost our ferry and had to stay one more day on the island now seems totally unimportant.One more thing, this place is far from everywhere, restaurants, markets, ATMs, dive shops, etc. You need to drive 30 minutes to get to the "center" (the harbour area).

Well worth that 800m walk to the beach, the best hot shower I had in Indonesia, aircon, breakfast, great bed and clean sheets, wifi. Very friendly owners, they arranged a pick up from the ferry harbour and there were a welcome drink waiting for us. Not to everyone's liking - but there is no roof above the shower, switch off the lights and you are surrounded by the stars :o There is no pool but for a price of a coffee or whatever you can use the pool next door if you wish so, but you probably came here for the beach and not for the tiny pools of Indonesian guesthouses. We actually walked everyday to the next beach (over the steps) which is 1000% better than the crowded and overrated Crystal. Morning snorkel at Crystal Beach, coffee, 15 minutes hike to Pandan Beach, and you are in the little paradise ;) The warung at Pandan is rather crude, so it's best to have your dinner/supper back on Crystal. I wish we stayed longer than 5 nights.

Nice location near Crystal Bay, just 10 minutes walk away. Bungalows were nice and very big with outdoor private showers.A little far from other things on island and had to use the restaurants and shop from the other bungalow complexes nearby.Bikes are 100k for a day but the brakes were pretty poor and tyres bald.

I don’t like to write not very good reviews, but objectively I really don’t understand where this rating comes from. The only good thing is the location (10 minutes walk to Crystal Bay)Upon arrival, there was no one at the reception desk, we sat for 30 minutes.Houses... Just the walls and the bed, and in very poor condition (shabby and moldy). There is no TV, no refrigerator, no wardrobe, not even a regular hanger or shelf for clothes, no kettle. Nothing at all!!!Musty smell in the bathroom. And we didn't even have bed linen or towels!!!!! The girl from the reception desk said that they were at the laundry and would give us a ride in the evening. 🫠🫠🫠No pool. Breakfasts have the same name. They brought cold coffee and a Nutri waffle whose dough was raw.The area has dirty and faded umbrellas, but overall it is green and well-groomed.The first night we didn’t even stay there…. We went to the neighboring CRYSTAL BAY hotel. We had to live there for the remaining 2 days, since there were no vacancies in neighboring hotels.In general, I do not recommend this hotel.I didn’t take any photos other than the territory, so you’ll have to take my word for it))) or check it yourself😉

Location is great because its very close to crystal bay but it is quite out of the way and not much other food options around. You will have to bike/drive to go the other places but do note that the roads at nusa penida are very steep and dangerous so only experienced riders/drivers should travel them.

The worst hotel of our stay and by VERY far! Frankly, a not very warm welcome (no one at reception we had to go out into the street to ask for help). Deplorable service but really I don't like to give opinions like that but I just want to prevent other vacationers from having the same experience. A non-existent breakfast. No hot water, dirty showers with lots of bugs. No light in the room. No storage for our belongings. No fridge. In short, we were happy to quickly leave this place which put us in a very bad mood. The only advantage was the beach less than 10 minutes walk away but that's it. Note that there is no swimming pool :)

Amazing bungalows with incredible unique showers. The owners are lovely and breaky included was an added bonus! Walking distance to the beach, and just 20 minutes back to town. Would really stay here again
