Toska Mentawai Surf Lodge

We had a wonderful time in this paradise. Stuff was amazing with neverending smiles on their faces. We spent 20 days in Toska and from surfing twice a day to delicious meals three times a day we never got disappointed.We stayed in one of the private bungalows. It was very spacious, matraces were comfy and internet was good for work/calls.Fan and mosquito net provides enough help from heat and mosquitos, but I would recommend to bring a mosquito spray for sunset times outside.If I could I would move here haha.I definitely recommend to stay in Toska to anyone who loves good food, likes to surf sick waves and enjoys being in a remote place.

Amazing place to visit and stay. This is a grass roots surf lodge with a relaxed environment, comfortable accommodation, amazing food and good vibes. The local family who run the day to day are a beautiful family and make you feel welcome and cared for 🫶

We had a wonderful time staying at Toska! The lodge is beautiful in pristine surroundings. We stayed in a private bungalow which was perfect for a couple, comfortable and spacious with private bathroom. Food was tasty, healthy and balanced. Many surrounding surf spots for different levels easily accessible by boat. The surf guide Tito was great, sharing his knowledge about the surrounding spots and guiding us to some less crowded surfs. The boat captains and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice area to chill, snorkle, and fish for non-surfers too. Would recommend staying at Toska to anyone considering visiting the Tuapejat area in the Mentawai - couples, families, and groups of friends! Big thanks for a great start of our visit in the Mentawai islands to the Toska family 🙏

Firstly, I would like to thank you, Rissa and Chris for providing us a great place to stay. From the very beginning they were very helpful with booking, organizing transfers and providing so much useful information.We stopped in four places in total on Mentawai, but Toska was the best for value.Santi provide us delicious local food, fresh, tasty prepared just before serving. We were delighted.Rio, boat capitan, was taking us every day for excursions in the neighborhood. We had opportunity to stop on many beautiful beaches, snorkeling and meet local people - another great experience.Soundings around Toska are also one of the best beaches which we saw around other Lodges, great views and space for long beach walk, nice sunsets.Our lodge was very spacious, simple furnished with nice terrace, over all meet all our needs. Just be aware like in many other places on Mentawai there is no hot water (no issue at all). Regarding water we had access to free fresh water all the time. As well, tea/coffee service. We didn't have any problems with bugs, ants and such things. There is a mosquito net around the bed.All attached pictures were taken during our stay in Toska.Greetings to the whole Toska crew, it was an amazing place to stay and our best holiday so far!

Paradise place!The view from the bungalow is incredible, with wonderful colors and landscapes!The waves need no comment, but the best part is the people who live and work there who made us feel at home, even though we were far away!Besides, of course, the pleasant surprise with the flavor and seasoning of the food that was prepared with so much care!!Cris and his wife Rissa were very helpful whenever we asked for any information!We highly recommend it!!We will definitely be back! 🥰

The houses are superb, views of the turquoise sea, the staff is super attentive, the meals are delicious, Chris (owner) is spectacular, always available via WhatsApp even from a distance, the vibe at the camp is super pleasant and the island is simply heavenly!I came back every year!Thank you Toska Mentawai for an unforgettable few days!
