Accommodation that does not comply with what is offered on the booking platforms. Of the two rooms with bathroom that we booked, only one existed. There was no water at many times, not even cold. Walls made with pieces of different materials, doors that don't close. We had to ask for additional blankets, which were requested before the end of the stay. The owners, after this conflict, refused to talk to us, even insulting us on WhatsApp.

We were 8 people (3 children) staying.It is accommodation with a local family, Christian prayers and good harmony. We spent 3 nights. In booking they put many services that they don't have. We claimed to have reserved and paid for 2 double rooms with bathroom, and they only had one. No hot water...and even 1 day without cold water. Publication of fake services.The complaint did not sit well with them and they ended up insulting a colleague, through WhatsApp! We tried to talk to them personally to clear up any misunderstandings that there might be and they denied us that option! Incredible. Finally they behaved very badly.

We felt at home thanks to the incredible welcome from Hironimus, Magdalena and their children. So much so that we stayed a day longer than planned. We left there with stars in our eyes.Many thanks for your welcome, we will not forget you ♥️

Adorable family, great welcome, good dinner.... for the rest: very basic and almost unsanitary, no hot water, a little hard in this season in Ruteng where it can be very cool

Extraordinary kindness of the whole family!❤️ Rooms are basic, but that's what one should expect from an authentic homestay. The food was delicious and whole the family super helpful and communicative. Magdalena also accompanied us to rice terraces and Wae Rebo village - we really enjoyed the time we had together.

We had a wonderful time at Karleta Homestay. Magdalena, her children, and her husband are very kind and treat you like family. The bed is comfortable, and you get breakfast and dinner. It's very enjoyable to sit together at the table in the evening. Most of them speak English well. The facilities are basic, but the family's warmth makes up for it entirely.

KarletaBest homestay we’ve ever been within our two months travelling Indonesia! Terima kasih to the kindest and lovely family, Magdalena, Jeronimo and their 3 little girls: Karla, Karlin y Karleta were absolutely amazing. Make sure you spend some time with them, you will Lo ed them. Since the beginning you just feel part of the family and Magdalena’s food is like mums food, so tasty and full of flavour. Get ready to try the best Indonesian food, perfect balm after a long day exploring the area.Simple rooms with a veeery comfy mattress. The outside area and the views are ideal to hang out, have breakfast or a hot tea and a good chat :).Terima kasih again, our best wishes and we hope to visit you again. Pablo and Sari.
