During the MotoGP event it was very difficult to find accommodation around Kuta...And I am grateful to be able to experience staying at The Jumbo Homestay.Hotel taste homestay. And the hotel is a star hotel. 🥰🥰🥰Even though I only stayed 1 night, I got a very good impression while there. When you open the room, you will immediately be pampered with a fragrant room. Good first impression. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, fragrant and complete (there is a mini refrigerator, 4 large pillows, blankets, a large and soft bed, wardrobe, etc.)The bathroom is also nice, fragrant and complete, there is a hair dryer, toothbrush + paste, soap and shampoo and towels. The internet is very fast. 👍👍The breakfast menu is varied and delicious.Like breakfast at a star hotel.I chose the Indonesian food menu. There was fried rice and grilled rice with 3 side dishes (chicken, eggs, tofu, tempeh) and both foods were really delicious... apart from that, I was also given pieces of fruit + yoghurt... hmmm... yummie...For drinks, there are many choices, from various kinds of coffee, tea, juice.Hmmm.. as I said before.. like in a star hotel, right?! 😁🥰Apart from that, in the room, we were also given fruit, a jar of chocolate, various kinds of drinks (fizzy drinks, mineral water, vitamin C drinks) and snacks. And all this is FREE.The location is only +/- 5 km from the Mandalika circuit.Anyway, I really recommend this inn.If there is a chance to return to Lombok, The Jumbo Homestay is my main choice.Thank you The Jumbo Homestay.Hopefully more success.Amen..10/10

The entire experience at Jumbo was excellent. All of the staff is very kind and helpful. The location is great - 3 minute scooter ride or a 15 minute walk to the center of Kuta. It is easy to get to it from the main road (only around 200m) but very quiet. The room was spacious, clean and had AC.For the breakfast there are 3 main options to choose from (Indonesian, Continental and American), and it was very tasty. They helped us with the transfer from the airport, we rented a scooter from them and they organised laundry cleaning couple of times during our stay.

Beautiful homestay 🫶 Very clean and feels modern. Mini fridge, plenty of storage space, your room is provided with mug and glasses for drinking water, there is a cold water dispenser in the common area. The owner and his staff, Muslim, is very kind and makes you feel welcome! The breakfast was big and filled us up. Strategic location; 15-20 minutes to walk to Kuta center, 5 min by scooter. Overall great!😄However we have one major complaint 🚫We stayed for one week and the last evening a man whom we have never seen before waved to us through the window of the room. We went to the door and asked what was up. He demanded us to close the curtains so other guests in the common area would not look into our room. We were confused and did not understand. Then he entered our room without our permission and closed the curtains. We were shocked and furious. Who was this man? He is not the owner, so why did he demand us to close the curtain? He was a local Indonesian man who was in the common area, I believe a friend of the owner or Muslim. As the guests we should be able to determine whether we want to have our curtains open or not, especially when there are no other windows in the room. We were both just sitting on the bed talking when this happened, FULLY CLOTHED. It felt very invasive as a woman, to have a random man force his way into my room. I paid to rent to this room, I should not have strangers come into my room, nor decide whether I can have my curtains open or not. If a man has an issue with seeing a tourist woman in her room, when the building is built in such a way that the only windows of the room are facing the common areas, then he should not be let into such a property. I felt unsafe and will not come back because of this. I have traveled for 1 year throughout Asia and never experienced something like this.Stayed in September 2024.

The breakfast was huge too!!The area is quiet, and there is a lovely private terrace in front of the rooms.Couldn’t recommend this accomadation more!

The staff/owner was really friendly and charming.. we arrived around 2 AM, the AC already turned on so really comfortable to go straight to sleep. The breakfast couldn't be better, delicious fried rice served with fresh fruits and bread. We even insisted to pay for extra breakfast because we are traveling with our childrean (the staff said we didn't need to pay), and guess what? the additional charge was really cheap...The internet speed was also greatOver all in all 5/5 considering the price was really cheap as well...

This homestay was simply amazing. The room was enormous with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, in my life. Really a 5 star hotel experience when it comes to sleep comfort! The room has a large closet with shelves and hangers for those that want to unpack their suitcase. The bathroom had an automatic air freshener dispenser leaving behind a watermelon type of smell preventing the typical Southeast Asia bathroom stench.Breakfast was served in the lobby with a selection of different styles of breakfast. Everything was freshly cooked and served hot. The coffee machine was able to make a variety of different powdered coffees. It is well priced for what it is and I would 100% stay here again on my next visit to Kuta.It may be a bit far from the main restaurant/bar area of Kuta if you don’t have a scooter. About a 15 minute walk.

Excellent Homestay! We really enjoyed our three weeks in Lombok because of our stay here. The staff is very kind, attentive and were always available for us.They offer really affordable bike rental, amazing and big breakfast, incredible location and quiet at night. If I were to comeback to Indonesia, this stay will be a must for me again. If I could say one thing to improve on, was that some of the staff smoked in the breakfast area, so that would be uncomfortable for any non-smoker at breakfast time.Overall, would highly recommend this place for long stays. 10/10!
