The villa is very nice and is a 15 minute walk from Diamond Beach and Treasure Island, it has air conditioning and includes breakfast. Most of what we didn't like: 1) the service, they don't speak English and the girl in charge wanted to charge us 3 times more for the return trip to the port, so we booked it separately. 2) the first day they brought us breakfast and the other days we had to go ask why the breakfast hadn't arrived, we asked and they hadn't made the order. 3) it was impossible to sleep because there was a lizard scraping the wood in the room all night, as well as roosters and dogs fighting (I understand that you can't control some things, but if you're not a nature and insect lover, this is not your place. 4) a tarantula came out on my wife's bedroom curtains and a scorpion in the bathroom.

We spent two nights in this establishment which is already too much... impossible to sleep between the roosters that howl all night, the dog fights and the noise of the construction which woke us up on a Sunday morning at 6 a.m. and all this despite the traffic jams ears! The staff is not bad but they don't understand anything in English. We were really disappointed, the only advantage was that we were close to Diamond Beach to walk there.

Bungalow not at all expected. There are only 2 and nothing else. The staff offers ice tea on arrival but no orange juice at lunch. The bread was dry and the pancake cold. One person at reception speaks almost no English, I don't understand the point. Dogs bark regularly during the night and work nearby begins on Sundays at 7:30 a.m. The only positive point is the location. We will not set foot again.

We had an overnight stay in this beautiful villa. It is a totally unusual accommodation with beautiful furnishings and high ceilings. The bathroom has an outdoor area where we were visited by monkeys at night :D but they didn't steal anything from us :P The attached restaurant was very, very good and the staff were very friendly. The location was perfect for walking to Diamond Beach. The accommodation dogs stole my heart - they greeted us at our room in the morning and guarded the cabin. They even walked with us to the beach and accompanied us :)

Breakfast is included, the administrator will help you rent a bike or order snorkeling. Near by a small market.

We had booked 2 nights to be close to Diamond beach but after only 1 night we found it impossible to sleep because of a large gecko which came down on the bed, on an old comment I saw that someone had already send the information back to reception But no change 1 month later

Before arriving at this place, verify that they give you the room you chose and that they send you photos!We had a terrible experience, we had booked for the villa that appears in the photos, which is very nice and is next to the restaurant, but when we arrived they took us to another place 5 minutes away that was completely different, another very ugly room, terrible bathroom and ants everywhere. Sides, my girlfriend got thousands of hives all over her body because there were mites in the bed and everything was super dirty! Really be carefulThe worst thing is that they only made excuses saying that they manage two properties and that's why they put us somewhere else.Check before booking that they give you the room that appears in the photos and on their Instagram because it really changes your trip completely!I planned to stay there for 5 nights and on the second day I decided to leave because the truth is, everything is terrible.

The reviews are very good but unfortunately we found that the only positive point about the accommodation is the proximity to the Tree House and Diamond Beach.We had a giant gecko in the room that kept trying to climb down from the ceiling at night because there was no exit for him from the roof. When we couldn't sleep all night because the gecko kept making noises, we tried to ask reception if we could sleep in the room next door. At around 11:30 p.m. there's nobody there, really nobody, not even in the area, so that wasn't possible either - unfortunately it wasn't a nice stay. Yes, the breakfast wasn't great either.

Superb! This villa is surrounded by nature, the structure is all made ofwood and the design is really impeccable. You can shower with a view of the palm trees - a dream! The lighting in the room is beautifully designed, warm lights that make you feel welcome. The bed is very comfortable. Note of merit, there is nothing plastic, it is all made of wood. Compliments to the staff, of a unique kindness

We stayed for one night to go to Diamond beach. When we arrive they serve us a fresh lemon juice as welcome drink. The room is beautiful, nice and comfy with triangle roof, have hot water and AC, electric kettle, tea and coffee. The bed is super comfy to sleep, food is good. Close to Diamond beach can be reached by walk if you wanted to do a bit exercise.Thanks to Gede for recomended this place.

Very nice and cozy villa despite the low fringe amenities (water pressure is low, insects in the toilet…). Nice place to stay to immerse in the nature and have a villa style experience on low budget. Good value for money, and the nearby restaurant offers cheap and good food. The room is nice and clean and have nice ambience, also has aircon. Toilet is very big, although water temp isn’t hot enough and water pressure isn’t strong. Toilet has some open space so got insects flying in. But the room doesn’t have insects, as long as close door. Overall, very good experience on low budget.

Great experience staying at Kubu Penida, comfortable beds, clean and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is included and can be brought to your room. 10 mins walk to diamond beach, which is so beautiful.
