Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, classic style, friendly staff, beautiful views, spacious parking, friendly for children to play. Got breakfast, the fried rice was delicious.

I booked for a group 2 months in advance but the room wasn't ready yet, toiletries and a welcome drink were given at night, were other guests at breakfast also given mica and water without plates and tea? Bad service is much different from before

The old inn is legendary, from when I was in kindergarten until I had kindergarten children. Still the same and very well maintained, the maintenance is great. Staying in the Rawa Pening room attached to the restaurant, I think I prefer this one to the rooms further away. It's cheap, in the application it's 250 thousand already with breakfast, last night I paid directly at 360 thousand, because I wanted to see what the room was like first. It's not as bad as thought, the pictures from the reviews are not doing justice 😅In fact, I am very happy, it really exceeded expectations. The bed sheets are soft, king coil hotel style, modern checkered bed covers, not the worn blankets found in 1 star hotels, the ones that are so thin, do you understand that? The room is large, the floor is cold, Dutch tile style, the ceiling is high plus there is a hidden light in the border of the curtain box (this really gives me high marks, using warm white LEDs).Thank God, the bathroom is a renovated model, no longer using 80-90s ceramics like other hotels in the same class around here.I didn't find any dusty curtains, blankets or tablecloths, everything was clean, even though the furniture was old but well maintained, that was great. The vibe is like a grandparent's house in Bandung, plus the beautiful environment is maintained by many gardeners. The tennis court that my aunt used (in the 1990s) is still there and is even more beautiful.Even though the building is a combination of Dutch, Soviet and 80s era models, it is very comfortable and very fresh. What is clear is that my children really love exploring this hotel, from kate chickens, guinea fowls, turkeys, pigeons, love birds in cages to the parrots near the kitchen who are clever at saying "assalamu'alaikum".You can ride a horse too, no need to leave the area, the road is far so it's worth the 50 thousand too.Breakfast choose from: fried rice, toast or boiled indomie. I ordered everything, and it was delicious to fill my stomach, the toast was still deliciously warm.Unfortunately, the bathroom smells a bit, I think I know, maybe it's because the toilet was renovated to a new model, whereas in the old toilet the toilet seat was drained in the front so the channel changed, or maybe it smelled like gas from the heater, I don't know, I think so, I'm sorry. .Unfortunately, the swimming pool lacks maintenance, when you get there (it's a long way from the Rawa Pening cottage building) the water is not clear, but paying 250 thousand for a pool seems really high.Cheers to the owner, hopefully it can be preserved and rejuvenated gradually, yes, there is a lot of potential but it's quite a pain and a waste of time to renovate. But this room is really the result of a proper renovation, really fitting, clean, bright and wants to incorporate vintage elements and the light is just right. It doesn't feel scary, I thought it would be horror, but not at all, don't hesitate.Oh yes, the restaurant building is very beautiful, the people who look after it are great. Will come here again :)
