Highly recommended place to stay when in Diamond Beach area. The owners are lovely people who will take a good care of you - show you the shortcut to the beach (it's a walking distance - much shorter than what Google maps shows), cook really well (best noodles with chicken I've had so far) and help you get a driver with reasonable price, if needed.

DO NOT BOOK!We had this accommodation booked over a month in advance, and few days before we were due to arrive. We messaged to give a heads up on our expected arrival time, we then received a message telling us that his property is now full. I’d advise booking elsewhere in the hopes that you may actually have a better chance of securing your booking!

We had an amazing stay in Mahendra Cottage!It's located near Diamond and Atuh Beach and the Tree House. If you walk slowly 25-30 minutes (Kadek will show you a shortcut so you don't have to walk all the way at the street), with the scooter only 10-15 minutes.The cottage is clean, the bed very comfortable. It has a small terrace to sit and enjoy the view.Don't expect luxury, it's simple but has everything you need.Breakfast is included and you can choose for example banana pancakes or eggs and toast with coffee/tea. They also offer lunch/dinner which was very delicous. We had dinner there every evening and everything we ordered was so good.The hosts Kadek and his wife are outstandingly friendly and welcoming that we didn't want to leave. They help you with everything you need.You can rent a scooter to explore the island directly with them for a good price.Thank you so much for the unforgettable time at your cottages!!

Few things you have to know before book this placeIt looks close to the beach but it’s not.▪️16 minutes on a bumpy road one way to get to the main road▪️24 minutes to get to the Diamond beach▪️dark at night▪️if you are not experienced driver better don’t go thereOtherwise▪️hot water▪️fresh big towels▪️okay wifi▪️breakfast is included▪️ac in the room▪️nice view from the room on ocean, islands and jungle▪️beautiful and peaceful placeFor me it was a surprise road conditions and the price/far from beachWe stayed for 1 night and it was a bit weird choiceIt was 400k/per night

The staff sold us overpriced tickets taking advance of our leak of knowledge about the island. They sell with a smile and then don’t provide the services and commitments. Also the locations is the worst. If you are by scooter it’s 30 min to diamond beach. If you walk it’s 20 min but you have to cross the jungle so impossible at night

We stayed for two nights. The service and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the room as well. Really beautiful cottages. We enjoyed also to walk to diamond beach by foot. It is quite and lovely.
