We spent a week here with our toddler, it was great. There was plenty of space for him to move about safely in and the staff treated him like a little king.For us as parents it was fantastic too, it’s a really beautiful space to relax in and come back down to earth. The views are breathtaking, the room is kept immaculately clean, breakfast is tasty and the bed is comfy.We didn’t want to leave, it would make a great romantic retreat, as well as being excellent with a toddler.

We stayed 3 nights at Villa Shimha in May, it's perfectly located in Ubud - far enough away from the busy centre but not too far away to walk in from. It is right next to the Elephant Restaurant which is a real treat and there is a shared pool on site which was a great bonus when the heat gets too much.The room has all the amenities you could need including an iron and the view of the Campuhan ridge walk is beautiful to wake up to.Unfortunately we could only experience breakfast on one morning as we had very early starts the others but we absolutely wish we could have had more, it was one of the best breakfasts we experienced on our trip. The villa is also walking distance to Room 4 Dessert and Mozaic so if you're into fine dining you're in the right place. 6/5.Tip: Go hard on the mosquito repellant, it's needed but that's the same everywhere around Ubud.

Stayed here for 3 nights and wish we’d stayed longer. Amazing private location with beautiful views of the jungle. We booked through Airbnb and the host was very helpful.The interiors and little touches in the place made the stay very special.

The view and interior of the room are exactly the same as the photos. Breakfast is also delicious. The location is ElephantAll you have to do is find a restaurant. The entrance is the same. The reception is immediately to the left of the restaurant entrance. I think it shares the site with another hotel(?). So, you have to walk down quite a few stairs from the entrance to get to the villa. We also share a swimming pool, but there aren't many people using it, so I think we can play quietly. They provide a local phone so you can call if you need anything. It's about a 20-minute walk to Ubud palace, and a scooter taxi costs 300,000 rupees per person.
