Beyond my expectations had an exception stay at this resort. Came for a solo wellness and yoga retreat during august (low season) and my whole stay was superb. All the staff there were so friendly and attentive from the moment I entered. First the reception throughly went through the agenda with me and next escorted me around the premises.I booked the suite pool view without balcony and it was huge. The bed was 2 single beds together and the living area had enough space to even do yoga if wanted. Rooms was generally clean and well maintained just little marks and small damages here and there. The room was equipped with microwave, kitchen sink, bowl and plates if needed. Bathroom amenities are pretty basic just shower cap, cotton buds and shampoo/soap.Food was generally above expectation and the presentation was superb, the menu for lunch and dinner is the same. If you purchased the meal inclusive package you can choice a starter, a main and a dessert for each lunch/dinner. Size varies dish by dish maybe for men the size might be a bit small. Breakfast is buffet style, not a huge variety of choice but sufficient. 1 smoothie is also included each day.Yoga classes the instructor (bamboo and yin) were all excellent and professional, studio is indoor clean with aircon. Classes were fun and well guided 5star teachers! Regardless your experience they would always provide alternative (easier/harder) so everyone could practice at their comfort. Yoga blocks, belts, cushions etc are available.Pool was big and breathtaking. Sufficient sun beds but there were some beds which were a bit rusty from the sun.The activities were also very well planned out and I felt well taken care of. All equipment was provided for example for sunbathing they prepared mats and towels. Even when I was the only one at the tour they didn’t cancel my tour and the guide was very well knowledgable.If I had to think of cons it would be shuttle bus is quite infrequent, and the place is quite secluded so not walkable to anything. Showers the waters takes a long time to get warm and it doesn’t even get that hot. Also wifi is a bit spotty. Apart from those cons highly recommend this place! I felt pampered the whole stay, good if you’re looking for a place to chill and relax to connect with yourself in a tranquility environment.

Highly recommend Hilltop Resort. The staff are very efficient and friendly. Yoga classes are suitable for all levels and the teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Plearn restaurant serves a wide array of delicious dishes. Would definitely return.

The view you get out of your room was stunning! Loved spending time at the infinity pool while getting an amazing view of the Phuket area. The food in the restaurant was fantastic! And I really enjoyed the yoga classes! |Would definitely recommend!

What an amazing place to come and relax and unwind.The hotel is beautifully designed, set on a tranquil hillside with views looking out across the mountains to the sea. Not only do you get these magnificent views from your room, but also from the large and peaceful infinity pool.Yoga sessions left me feeling calm and rejuvenated, especially the sunrise session.The food in the restaurant was impressive, with some unique cocktails on offer too.

The resort was absolutely stunning. The main receptionist lady was super friendly and extremely sweet. The pool was inviting. They had a section where you could read books and everyday from 12pm until about 6pm there was complimentary popcorn with some tea and water.The restaurant available at the resort was a bit pricy and quite frankly I wouldn’t go if I didn’t have to (we had breakfast part of our booking). The staff are rude - we tried to order a few things by the pools, as there was a phone available to call them. Because he couldn’t understand English, he did would constantly hang up, rather than trying to help, or coming down to the pools to see what we wanted. I had to call reception and let them know. Only then he came down and took our order. Lack of service - it literally took over 40 minutes for order to come (was just 2 drinks). We thought, since it takes this long, we may as well place another order, so by the time we finish our drinks the next lot will come. So we placed an order. He never came back.Also, as mentioned earlier, we had breakfast as part of our booking, there was this one day, there was a fly/bug in the olives and a hair in the lettuce. Upon telling the employee, he took our plates to the kitchen and never came back to apologise. This happened the day after, as the previous day, I had taken a lot of olives but couldn’t finish it, I felt guilty, but I genuinely could not finish it, (I wanted to take it with me to have later, but didn’t want to be rude). So the next day, there was only a little bit of olives in their bowl, and upon taking some out there was a bug/fly in it. (Pictures added)The resort can take you to a few locations for free - such as Old Phuket Town, the Shopping Centre close by and somewhere else. They also have pick up times too. We only went one day to Old Phuket Town, but because we were going to explore for longer, advised the receptionist we don’t need a pick up afterwards.Our room, we had picked a bigger room, however it was quite noisy, especially on the first night, as we got there late - about 9pm. We were exhausted and fell straight to sleep. In the middle of the night there would be some knocking sound, we were scared. But after a few days realised the knocking sound was coming from the window area . It was constant, would happen during the day also. So we eventually got used to it.

The service was beyond my expectations, from the moment I arrived to the moment I left I was treated like a Queen!!! The staff were efficient and ever so lovely , they couldn't do enough for you! I got to check in 4 hours early aland driven to my next location on departure,both at no extra charge 🙏The massages were exactly blissful and the yoga was excellent 👌 especially the sunrise yoga on the pool deck!The tours were great fun,we had the most commical and knowledgeable tour guide!bi totally enjoyed the sound healing session and cooking class at hotel!A beautiful quiet location in the hills, serene and peaceful,exactly as described.The rooms were delightful with gorgeous views!

My first trip to Phuket and I am totally heading back thanks to the awesome experience at Hilltop Wellness Resort! I always associate Phuket to beach but this resort changed my perspective of Phuket.Was recommended by my friend to stay at Hilltop Wellness Resort. It was so fuss-free where everything was planned out by Hilltop Wellness Resort for my friend and I. My friend was a returning customer of the resort (her 4th time there) and she sent an email to the resort to help with the itinerary planning. We told them some activites that we were keen and help us to plan the remaining including the timing. The package also includes all meals.Everything turned out so well! The resort was peaceful and quiet with comfortable bed, clean room and great view. The itinerary was great where we had sufficient to rest, great massages, love the sunrise yoga and authentic Thai food. It was my first yoga and I could follow through thanks to Teacher Bamboo and the view was mesmerising. The massages were really relaxing and really skillful masseurs. All the food served at the restaurant was so delicious and aesthetic including the dessert. On my last day, we had reiki session (Teacher Ai) and I felt so recharged after that.The resort was having maintenance during our stay but it wasn't noisy at all. During the stay, we got to speak to other guests and they were also full of praises. All the staff were so polite, sweet, helpful and nice!Big shoutouts to all the staff at the reception, restaurant, spa, maintenance team, activity guides, transport staff, masseurs, housekeeping team and teachers (Jayden, Milk, Sa, Teacher Ai and Bamboo, etc. I can't remember all of your names but you know who you are!). Keep up the fantastic job!I understand that the resort is continuously looking at introducing more activities and improving the resort so I believe my next trip there will definitely be a different experience. I will definitely be back again and will be introducing this lovely resort to my friends too!

Great location great staff.. need to improve on room cupboards and cleaning staff who did not make refills, had to ask for towels everyday. Pool, dining lounge, club, reception... All are perfect.

Amazing service. Shout out to all the staff at Hilltop ranging from the receptionist, restaurant peeps, housekeeping staff, transport staff and wellness program coordinator Sal for their hospitality throughout our stay. We came during monsoon season and the rainy weather caused a few hiccups in our wellness program activities but Sal was quick to make alternate arrangements by swapping to cooking classes/beach visits. Special thanks to our yoga instructors Yine and Maeya especially instructor Yine who customized our yoga sessions to individual abilities. She also gave a lot of helpful tips on how we can continue to strengthen our core and practice on our own later on.

One of the best resorts ever. I had the greatest time ever. I was solo travelling and this place made me feel so safe. The trips to the island, hiking, food , everything was perfect. I was assisted by Renu, she was amazing and kind. |Definitely recommend!
