Not bad but the mosque between 5 and 6 is a real nuisance.Large room, air conditioner ok.Excellent breakfast.Staff ok.A little outside, without transport you can't move.Cute private outdoor bathroom

I stayed at The Country House for 1 week. Normally I would book with big established hotel chains if I was travelling within Asia. However, I thought this time I will try something different and book with a smaller establishment. Glad I did. Enjoyed every minute of my stay at The Country House. The room I stayed in was very clean. Even the common areas, for instance the lobby, kitchen, dining rooms, parlour were very clean. What I appreciated most was the generous supply of bottled water. To save the planet, I chose to reuse the empty bottles and refill it with water available at the kitchen. Ask the staff if you don't know where the refill station is located. The property is located about 5-10 mins cab ride to the restaurants and shops. So you could either call a cab or order your food with one of the restaurants to get it delivered to you. Within the property, you could join the hikes or play picketball with whoever were playing on that day. There is always someone you could play a game with even if you are a newbie like myself. However, the highlight of my stay was my interactions with the guests, the picketball players from the community and Jim, the owner of the property. Jim is a well travelled and educated multilingual gentleman with loads of experiences to share. On my last evening, Jim brought me to have dinner at this restaurant called Stanley. I ate the best steak and roasted potatoes that could easily match or even surpass any famous restaurants in Europe at fraction of the price. To all the staff and Jim, thanks for taking good care of me. If you are looking for a more intimate and authentic experience, book with The Country House.

What a wonderful place! If you like sleek white hotel rooms and expect an infinity pool, this is not your hotel, but if you want a nice clean, quiet place in the middle of greenery with friendly staff, then this is the place for you!The breakfast is delicious, the best pancakes in Indonesia so far! The owner is super hospitable, we were even able to have lunch with us when we arrived around lunchtime and he is very good to his staff!Our children also loved it here. Enough space to play. A bit further away from restaurants, but in 5-10 minutes with a grab you can be in the center for 30K or have some food delivered.

What a stunning location! Nestled amidst lush jungle surroundings, we were captivated by the beautifully tended gardens and expansive open spaces. The pool, discreetly positioned away from the center, afforded us a sense of complete privacy, which was simply perfect! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Our host was welcoming and friendly. With its convenient proximity to Senggigi center, the location couldn't be better. We will most certainly be returning again.

This is a beautiful place to stay. It's large and the rooms are nice and well maintained and clean. Jimmy is a good host. He is very hospitable and can tell you a lot about the area. The staff is also very nice and there is a good atmosphere. From here we rented scooters to explore the area. The area is beautiful and so are the beaches.
