The location is ideal.The host will advise you on your excursions to King Kong Hill and Mount Bromo.The room is very simple, but clean. The only downside is that the room is dilapidated and there is no sink.

Superb place to sleep in Cemorolawang! We stayed there less than 24 hours to discover bromo and that was more than enough. The only thing missing is a sink and a little pressure in the shower but otherwise we have nothing to say! Ideal location and fair price compared to the competition!Remember to bring warm clothes.THANKS !

A very cozy room in an ideal location to go to Bromo or the sunrise at King Kong Hill. The owner is very helpful, he can arrange everything at a good price :) and he is nice, smiling and speaks very good English. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Remember to take warm things with you, although if you don't have them, you can also buy or rent them on site.

Maybe an above average Homestay in Cemorolawang.. stayed here 2 nights and we didn’t have any problems.. there’s hot water even though the shower flow was weak and the bathroom was missing a sink or wash basin, we couldn’t normally brush our teeth. Friendly people!

Simple homestay, we got everything as described: shower, but no sind, a toilette. A bit loud: you can hear if neighbours are loud and cars on the road.
Daddy was very helpful explaining how we can reach Bromo hiking.

Deddy’s homestay was everything we hoped it would be - walking distance to both the Bromo caldera and to King Kong hill, and clean and spacious enough for 2 people. On top of it all, Deddy was very helpful and gave us tips on how to walk to the caldera, restaurants to eat at while we were in town, and how to catch the bemo to get to Probollingo on a budget. We would absolutely recommend this homestay.

Simple and cheap hostel, well located if your idea is to see the sunrise or visit the volcano on your own. They treated us correctly. The room was large and clean, but there was no sink and there was a strong sewage smell from the bathroom. For one night it is enough.

Very well located Deddy was very welcoming and kind from the moment we arrived. He managed to find us a driver with a jeep to go see the sunrise on Mount Bromo the same evening for the next day (less than 6 hours there) and recommend a very good restaurant that was not too expensive and easily accessible from his home.

Fantastic service by the owner, Deddy. They carried our luggages to top floor. Their walkway is also a bit of a hassle for oldie like me because the slope is very steep but they hold our hand so that we do not lose balance. We took a room on 2nd floor. There's two queen size bed with two towels and a modern toilet. Very basic facilities. They did brought us tea. Outstanding service by owner and his family. There's no aircon or fan in the room as the weather is already quite cold so they provided in the room with thick blanket. The only negative thing is that it's a bit noisy by 2am since a lot of jeep will go through the road in front of this homestay as it's the only road that lead to Mt Bromo to see the sunrise. You can also see sunrise from the 2nd floor room. The surrounding view is still nice.

Our stay at Deddys was great but booking here is a gamble. There's at least one room that smells strongly of sewage. We complained and were moved into a different room but they just put someone else in there. Despite a language barrier the owners were very friendly and gave us water refills and flasks of hot water, bowls and cutlery for noodles. Great views.

Nice place to chill for a night, but not more. The bathroom didnt have a faucet and the smell of the canalization was quite strong. Good wifi tho and hot shower (after Bromo is so satisfying). On the mountain it is a bit cold, i slept with my sweater and it was perfect.
