The service and staff are very good. They consider your request and try to make your stay memorable.

Clean and Comfortable hotel. The rooms have a jungle vibe. The hotel is somewhat difficult to access because cars can’t reach it. However they provide a buggy service to the road.

Very nice charming hotel with independent small villas and a wonderful pool. The restaurant menu is a delight as well

I recently stayed at the Alam Wayang and I honestly could not recommend this place enough. my partner and I had the most amazing time staying at this beautiful villa , here is an overview of our thoughts.The Roomfor reference we stayed in the Arjuna suite which includes a private pool, we found the room very beautifully decorated featuring a number of artwork which complimented the unique layout of the suite. the suite included a number of amenities such as air-conditioning , shower, 50mps+ WiFi, refrigerator and best of all our room had a filterd water machine that is able to provide hot and chilled water and is fed from a 25l water bottle meaning the water is safe for tourists to drink. during our stay we did not buy a single bottle of water and we were perfectly safe. for people traveling to bali this is a amazing addition for the room.another highlight for us was the shower which was very powerful and able to provide very hot water at both day and night.The locationThe hotel is located about a 15 minuit walk from ubud Palace however has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants on the way and within a short walking distance which in my opinion was perfect balance between availability and noise as the villa is on a very peaceful road. one thing for visitors to note I'd the address on the listing is actuslly about a 10 minuite walk from the actual villas as the road is not accessible by car. the location on Google maps actuslly takes you to the Alam Wayang cafe however the hotel offer a free golf car service that will take you between the two locations if asked which is great for planning day trips.The foodWe were very impressed overall with the food we opted in for breakfast included and every morning we tried something new and everything was delicious with a mix of Eastern and western foods. we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel on occasions and were extremely impressed with the quality and price of the food which was cheap even compared to other local restaurants.The staffWe found the staff extremely welcoming and hospitable. we were always greeted with a smile and they went out of their way to ensure out every need was met. every member we interacted with seemed to be genuinely friendly and kind .Summaryoverall we can honestly say that if you are planning a trip to ubud the Alam Wayang is a top choice and we would love to stay again. both my partner and I could not think of a single bad word to say about this place and I can highly recommend it. The only advice I would give is to bring your own hair dryer if you need one to style your hair as while it is great that one is provided it is very weak and more like a toy than a useful hair dryer.

A villa that makes you really feels the nature, and the room itself is comfortable and clean, the location is close to many tourist spot and restaurants you can walk to a very beautiful yoga place, however since it is on top of a small mountain not very convenient to go back to the villa

the atmosphere is quiet and calm.Booked a deluxe room without breakfast, apparently they still gave it free and it was delicious.the room has a private terrace and small garden, spacious bathroom.very recommended .

A fantastic experience. It’s like living in a village.. But you will need a bike, because the car can reach to a certain spot, then you need to walk.
