If you want to be right on the beach with beautiful sunsets from your balcony and listening to the sounds of the ocean, then this is your place. Be warned though - there are a lot and I mean A LOT of stairs to get up and down. …

Huge disappointment.Beautiful view at the price of rooms full of mold, extremely humid, sheets also... Let's not talk about the smell. Oh there are also cockroaches that share your bed!We took advantage of a double room, without bathroom, or free bottle of drinking water, a shared terrace... but also double rooms with private balcony, it's the same catamaran for both! It is difficult and unpleasant to breathe there but the hotel does not accept any action in view of this.We also did a yoga class which also turned out to be disappointing, with mats at the end of their life and the smell that goes with them....Go on your way, at best go have a drink to enjoy the view and the surfers, but that’s it!

Amazing view! Everything very clean, towels smelling so good. Staff friendly and helpful. The stairs are not so bad as everyone says. BUT, the surfcamp experience for who is not a very beginner, is not advisable. …

Beautiful room, with sea view. During the night there is some noise from the waves but it didn't bother me.Divine breakfast, the avocado toast and coffee are really good. It's just a shame that we can only order one dish from the menu.Just be aware that it is necessary to go down around 200 stairs to the hotel but given the location it is worth it.To improve: the bathroom sink was always clogged.

As many reviews aready tell there are a lot of stairs and monkey visit the hotel every now or than. So we were prepared for that and did not mind booking it for a total of 3 nights. However what we were not prepared for were the conditions of the room. It was the most disgusting one we had throughout our stay in Bali. Right when we enterered our room (Nr. 24) we were welcomed by a strong smell of urine. We search for the source and found that the toilet was broken and the toilet water incl. the sh... was running across the bathroom floor. This must have been already an issue over weeks or months, as the whole room was habouring the smell. We got a new room for one night (Nr.21), which was a little bit better, and our initial room was "fixed". As the hotel was fully booked we could not stay in this room for the other days, and needed to move back. That was of course no option for us, as we paid a descent amount of money and wasted already one day finding a solution. The manager was not available at any time. The poor guy other front desk offered us to leave after one night and get a refund for the other 2 days. By now (3 days later) we still don't have any money back and we are sure we are not the only one. The bad thing is that they put our/ same room on the internet the same day we left. So they make money twice. If you want to visit the beach, make a daytrip and stay somewhere nicer.

the rooms are absolutely beautiful. staffs were amazing, very helpful and kind. my favourite thing about this hotel is the beach access. not a lot of people come to the beach next to the hotel (mostly surfers) so you can relax on the beach without a big crowd. the hotel is also right next to Padang Padang Beach if the tides are low enough you can walk right over and the beaches here r beautiful!there are definitely a lot of stairs to walk up & down but hotel websites does warn you beforehand. i see myself coming back to this hotel but only for 1-2 nights just because the area is a bit isolated and sometimes i get too lazy to go up the stairs to the town area but it is a perfect spot for beach/surf lovers

We went here to have dinner & the location with the sundown was amazing. Nevertheless everything else really disappointed… we ordered drinks & waited nearly 45 minutes to get them. We also ordered food which took 1 hour. Then the chicken burger arrived with the chicken cooked only half way through. I then asked the stuff & they said, that’s how they serve it. That really took away my appetite… also the Tofu of my girlfriend was cooked just on one side, so not tasty.Unfortunately it was the worst of dinners I had here in Bali…
