Absolutely loved Villa Bagus!From the moment you walk in the front gate into a lush calm tropical oasis and are greeted by the wonderful Marco and his amazing crew, you know this is going to be a very special experience.I cannot rate Villa Bagus high enough… a genuine 5 stars. Very good experience. We have stayed 2 nights in 2 bungalows. Everything very clean, healthy and very delicious breakfast. Marco took great care of us. We ate very well thanks to your recommendations. We booked a boat trip and everything was perfect. We walked everywhere and at night it was a bit hard to come back.

Trying to put a review as real as possible, the staff is magnificent and attentive, but as for the hotel... The first day we arrived the pool was not working, the cabin doors did not close properly and the cabin inside is not well isolated... At night a gecko (lizard about 20 cm) entered that the staff had to kill with a knife. Then a worm appeared in the bed. The next day, I don't know if it was due to the humidity in the bathroom, I opened the door and there were hundreds of mosquitoes (we had to buy insect killers at the supermarket). As for breakfast, we ordered it at 8:00 both days... it was supposedly served in the room. The first day it didn't arrive until 9 o'clock after letting them know.... and the second day we had to go to the hall to have breakfast and it wasn't served until 9:15. The shower also had no hot water for two showers and hardly any pressure. It is true that the hotel is renovated and the aesthetics are beautiful, but we have not been able to rest well at all, which is the important thing. Paying more than 100e a night

This is a villa undergoing an upgrade. It's an example of the little things counting while the big upgrades are gradually taking place. Photos placed by other guests tell the story. What distinguishes this villa from many in Indonesia are the staff. Under the baton of maestro Michael, the band of young men are quickly learning how to make your stay very enjoyable. They are smiley, helpful and fun. It is about 500 metres from the beach. Watch out for fast approaching horse drawn carts and remember, they are like the English they drive on the wrong side of the road! We enjoyed our stay and will return.

The best accommodation in all of Gili Air!!!!! Without a doubt, what a great piece of equipment. To start, Marco welcomed us with a welcome drink and explained everything to us. He told us many restaurants we could go to and offered us all kinds of activities. He prepared a bike for us that we used throughout our stay.All the guys are super attentive to any need and always with a smile on their faces. One day we needed to bring breakfast forward and they had no problem. They are super friendly.The location is excellent since it is in the middle of the island and by bike you will be 10 minutes from anywhere.The cleanliness and cabins are excellent. Also, very aware of replacing all the plastic to take care of this beautiful island.We will be back

A lovely oasis in Gili Air. The cleanliness of both the room and the common areas was very good. Super friendly staff and a perfect location to get to all the important points of the island, with a perfect access path for suitcases. Highlight the breakfast, very tasty and healthy. Without a doubt a place to repeat.

We spent a week at Villa Bags and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Our only regrets are that we didn't use the hammocks and the pool more often.

The place is newly made, probably in high season you will also be able to enjoy the future patio for yoga and meditationThe location is far from the city's mosque and if the wind is not bad it is one of the few places where prayers are rarely heard.Friendly and helpful staff in meeting my requests (vegan) I worked by the pool and the wifi was perfectTop room there was a broken toilet where water was leaking but nothing major, everything was clean and newThe manager Marcus is available and will be able to show you the best places to eat.
