The end of the world, an exceptional and unique paradise setting. If you are looking for the benefits of disconnecting from modern society, this is still the ideal place.A big thank you to Frances and her family for their warm welcome and attention to our needs. Thanks also to his family for the local and fresh dishes (fish caught the same day :))

Me and my friend had an amazing stay at Frances. He is so kind and he and the other people that work there really take good care of you and they think along with what you want to do. The food is good, they arrange transport for the activities you want to do. The room was big, the bed was big and clean. Also, this town is so nice and the people are so friendly and welcoming towards people who visit their village like us. Would highly recommend!

the view from the bungalow's terrace is breathtaking. You are at the end of the world with an excellent internet signal. I have been to over 100 countries sleeping in a tent and in the Ritz Carlton, these were the most pleasant 4 days of my traveling

This homestay is not recommended. Frances wanted all the money on the first evening, promised to organize diving tours and a tour to Piaynemo and just left the next day! Esmee wasn't even there. In the end, his sons wanted double the price for the trip to Waisai, which we didn't pay. The food wasn't good either, only rice with fish, 3 times a day! It doesn't have a toilet (just shared, and very unhygienic), nor does it have a shower.Go to a cheap homestay in Kri or the Raja Ampat Dive Lodge, the service and staff are super friendly!!

Very good stay at Francés Homestay. The great room, overlooking the sea, with a coral reef in front that is very beautiful but well maintained because it is sometimes inaccessible due to strong currents (as in all of Raja Ampat). DELICIOUS food, delicious fresh local fish or sublimely stewed chicken (I say this after having been hungry in other homestays in the area). Standard shared bathroom similar to other homestays with bathroom and shower in the same space... well...Perhaps the part we consider most negative is that, while Frances was friendly and accessible, and helped us with all the things we needed, there was no organizational structure to make plans/activities. We had to be the ones to ask to be taken to one place or another, unlike other homestays that offer activities (which makes day-to-day organization much easier, especially because you leave with the feeling that you have really taken advantage of the knowledge of the locals to see the most notable sites in each area). If you are clear about what you want to do, 100% recommended site

We spent 8 days with Frances and Esmée, we felt good there and the view is magnificent from the overwater bungalow. On the other hand, quite noisy environment, especially at night with dogs, roosters, birds and other animals chatting continuously.Possibility of snorkeling from the terrace of the bungalow, which is still fortunate. Frances provides masks, snorkels and fins!Frances is welcoming and wants to do well, but her command of English is average, so communication was not easy. Be careful of the prices which are very high there:- Ferry Sorong-Waisai: 125k IDR/pers- Frances Wasai-Mansuar boat: 850k IDR for 1 and more…- Excursion of three snorkeling points around Mansuar (Manta rays, turtles, black tip sharks): 1.5 million IDR for 1 and more…- Excursion to the Wayag archipelago: between 12 and 15 million IDR for 1 and more… (if you can, it’s really worth it!)There is no ATM on site, no store, no restaurant… There is a package of 200k IDR/pers per day to eat three meals, cooked by Esmée and brought directly to the bungalow at set times (7:20 a.m. , 11:20 a.m. and 6:20 p.m.). Electricity only from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., on paper…To have peace of mind and not get stuck, we left with a budget of 11 million between us and it wasn't too much.Hoping that the information will be useful to you!Enjoy this stay in paradise and don’t hesitate to book with Frances 😉
