Great homestay with newly made bungalows! The private bathroom was western-style with a shower and toilet. There was already a connection for a sink, but it definitely wasn't connected or installed when we stayed. The food was excellent every day and the family was so nice and friendly! When we arrived, fresh coconuts were picked for us.The reef right outside the door was nice (but we liked the reefs in the homestays on Pam and Gam better). Nevertheless, we saw many colorful fish, starfish and even a snake here.We had a small incident with a mouse or rat that ate the string of a necklace, but you just have to be able to deal with that and other creepy crawlies and mosquitoes here.I can highly recommend this homestay to everyone!

Wonderful secluded pace with a good reef all around. Friwen Wall is just in front of you and if you dare you can swim across. Huts are very much OK for Raja Ampat. Shard bath and toilet have plenty of (cold) water. Food was excellent and the best was the warm welcome by the hosts.

A wonderful homestay experience with Mike and Julie. They are really nice people, very attentive and helpful. One really feels well taken care of. The location is fantastic, right next to an amazing reef with beautiful corals and just opposite the famous Friwen wall. Just snorkel to the left side of the beach, past the rock. The food was fantastic, even the simplest vegetables were full of flavour and we also had fresh fish that Mike caught for us - the "smoked" variant was my favourite. There is one bungalow with a bed, a second bungalow with a mattress on the floor (January 2023). Separate shared basic shower and toilet, with plenty of fresh water in both. If you want to book it's best to send a WhatsApp message to Martin 812-4026-5764, Julie 's brother who owns the homestay. He is based in Wasai normally, but he came and stayed at the homestay during our stay. Prices were very reasonable. Basic English spoken, but if you have any complicated requests it's best to use the translate app.
