Wonderfull time in Yenwar Homestay. Kalep and the rest of the family took great care of me! The bungalow is nice and clean, just above an amazing reef with incredible corals. The food was excellent and plentifull ! Best of all is the situation of the homestay, on a little private beach, away from the buzz of some bigger ressorts or homestays, close to many interesting sites. Kalep took me for snorkeling and sightseeing, always doing his best to introduce me to the wonders of Gam. I can only but recommend staying there !

A really sweet new homestay. Comfy bungalows, lovely, kind, friendly family( who only speak Bahasa so good chance to practice!).Kalep, the owner will do all he can to make you feel comfortable. The house reef is not great but a short swim round the corner it's lovely and if you like to snorkel you can easily go to Batu Lima and the Biodiversity jetty for variety and see lots of sharks and turtles on the way. I swam with dolphins several times in front of the bungalow and saw them swim past many times every day. Hornbills, cockatoo, fish eagles, cuscus .. all the beauty you could wish for. Peaceful yet very close to Waisai. Ask about the trip to the Passage.. it's a truly magical place, I liked more than Wayag even... but if you do any snorkel trips be aware that Kaleb tends to keep them shorter and if you really want to see the reef you need to be very clear about staying several hours ( it was the only thing we were all a bit disappointed with.. a long boat ride to an amazing place to be very quickly asked to get back on the boat)

The rooms are practically new or under construction. The mattresses are comfortable. Although communication is not easy (they speak very little English) the friendliness and willingness to solve problems make this place 100% recommendable. The quality/price is excellent

Just amazing, this is how paradise supposed to be.These 3 neat bungalows are run by a my local family and all have a private bathroom and mine had a shower! (Both very rare in this area and you get it for the same or even a cheaper fare).Everything is rustic, comfy and super clean. I was surprised they even changed my bed clothes and towel after 3 days. The price includes all meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea & dinner). Very simple, delicious and healthy food which include traditional local food and as a vegetarian they prepared me something different every day (veggies, beans, eggs, rice is always available, fruits, cakes, pancakes, coffee, tea & water). There are dive shops only 10' boat ride ( I went diving) or you can relax at the 2 beaches on site or at your hammock.Snorkeling on the coral reef right by their beach is quite awesome, even better than some dive sites! On the other hand, I was quite happy that there are not insects like mosquitoes or anything strange coming inside the cabana at night.I was also surprised that the local villagers are Christians, and on Sunday I accompanied the family to the local mass just for curiosity and to check their traditional village. All these homestays on the islands are accessible only by boat and they also offer transfers or tours.I am very grateful & happy to have found them, do not hesitate to contact Yenrou Homestay on your next trip to Raja Ampat !
