The accommodation is a local homestay with a very beautiful and natural view. The accommodation faces a mountain view. Very impressive. The owner takes good care of the accommodation, delicious food, not far from the lotus field. It may not be as comfortable as accommodation in the city, but it really has a peaceful nature feel.

Perfect place to enjoy the natural park. The owner Karoun is super nice and helpful. If you need anything, he will do it all for you.The level of English is beginner but he is full of good will to make this understoodFor 300 bath, you have the meal and breakfast included. The rooms are basic and rustic but the panorama is truly magnificent. In addition, Karoun runs a coffee farm, if you are interested he can show you and explain the manufacturing process.Bonus in the early morning we heard the gibbons singing, it was wonderful. Thanks again to Karoun and everyone in the village for the warm welcome

Extraordinary view, it is certain that hearing the song of the gibbons in the early morning immerses you in the jungle but the huts cannot be called otherwise a water point as a bathroom..... ..........

We had a wonderful stay! A beautiful view and friendly owner. Due to our interest in coffee beans, we were given a tour of the company. In the meantime, a meal was prepared for us and the fire was lit. The next morning we had fresh coffee for breakfast. The owner showed us how we could get as close as possible to the waterfall via a complicated but beautiful walking route. He's been out with us all morning. Thanks Karoon!

Top Sunsets and Karoon is a very friendly host :) fresh coffee from his coffee factory all day, good food, vegetarian optionally! You can hire a guide to hike down to the Mae Sariang waterfall for a few hundred bath. 1 h down, 1h back. The walk is not for the elderly but the waterfall is amazing! Thank you Karoon and family :))

We stayed here late January, which is low season for this particular area. Most other places seemed closed, but here it was possible to stay the night. We were received by an english speaking friend of the family, who was super kind and explained everything about the place and about the coffee production that was currently taking place around the accommodation, all done by Karen living in the area. They were not really expecting visitors anymore, but we were received warmly and upon asking told us that they would be happy to receive more visitors in low season. The friend of the family won’t always be there though, so it might be a different experience and communication may be a bit more difficult than it was in our case if you don’t speak Thai or Karen. The views from the room are simply stunning, the best we’ve had in Thailand, right into the valley with a sunset in front of you. The surrounding area is nice as well, with abundant viewpoints and the Surin waterfalls within walking distance (3km).Don’t expect great luxury here. There are no showers, only buckets. The room, beautifully situated as it is on the hillside, also sits right in the open. Nightly winds coming trough the cracks of the walls will make it feel a bit colder than it already is. They will provide you with enough blankets to keep you warm trough the night though. All in all it was for us one of the more unique stays in Thailand. I definitely recommend it, but it may not be the place for everyone. Obviously it must be nicest in high season when the flowers bloom (sept-dec), but the place definitely has its charm outside these months as well.

Going to enter Mae Hong Son but not getting there before it gets cold. So we climbed up to find a place to stay and found this place before reaching Mae Surin Waterfall and stopped to set up a tent. Almost got to sleep for free because the people in charge of the place didn't know there were people staying there. At first, after setting up the tent, there was no electricity, the bathroom was far away, my mind was lonely. I brought all the weapons to go into the tent (a counter knife and a hammer to hammer into the anchors, haha). I didn't cook food because I was afraid the fresh food would spoil. Try giving it to him to see. So we know that there are guests staying and the situation has changed to being well taken care of. There is electricity to turn on the bathroom nearby. Stomach full, sleep comfortably.. The cause was that the owner forgot to inform the caretaker that there were guests staying.. end
