I had a wonderful time at Twin Homestay in Rantepao. Yohan and his family are incredibly friendly and helpful. His wife prepares an excellent breakfast and takes loving care of the guests. Yohan himself has been working as a guide for decades and knows the area very well - his recommendations were worth their weight in gold. I felt completely at home here and can highly recommend this homestay to anyone who wants to experience the authentic hospitality of Toraja.Many thanks to Yohan and his family!

My family and I spent four nights at The Twins Homestay. Yohan and his wife are two magnificent hosts. We also had the opportunity to meet several children from his large family. Apart from being very welcoming people, Yohan is a guide who demonstrates that he knows the region perfectly. We had the opportunity to attend a Toraja funeral rite and learn about their culture up close. I recommend without hesitation choosing this accommodation.

We spent 2 nights here, and if you're passing through Toraja you owe it to yourself to come here. We felt at home in Yohan and Ayou's homestay (I hope I wrote his first name correctly), Yohan speaks French and Spanish and is also a local guide who is passionate about his region. The rooms are impeccable, the service is top notch, we missed nothing and above all we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of this couple and their 2 charming daughters! We hope to see you again one day! See you soon and thank you again

We did not stay at his homestay but at the place next door to Yohan (nice and quiet are next to a big rice field) and he got recommended to us by our host as a good guide for a day tour to several cultural places around Toraja. Therefore we have to say he is an awsome man and guide. Very helpfull, friendly, kind and invested in the culture and history of the area and Indonesia. With his good english skills he provided us tonns of information about each place we visited. For the tour with a private car and additional driver he charged about 1.3mil Rupia. Since we could share this we 4 ppl in total it was a very fair price. He even helped us afterwards with organizing bus tickets and also rented his pretty modern scooters to us. Awsome guy! At the last night he gave us a roomtour through his "The Twins Homestay" that was still under construction at this time. It looked nice and cozy. Nothing too fancy but clean and just alone by the hospitality of him and his wife a big recommendation.
