Nice houses, super friendly owner. There is a beautiful garden around it with nice animals. And nice coffee ;)Perfect base to visit Kelimutu in the morning.

Amazing place to stay in Moni. Very friendly and helpfull people. Nice rooms. Could easily rent a bike. The location is beautiful, so much nature. Drive to Kelimutu (on a bike) is good and quiet.

We stayed for one night and I can’t recommend it more… hidden from the town lights and crowds, Geckos is just a gem in nature. Convenient for Kelimutu visit. The brothers managing the place are so nice, relaxed and accomodating. We did not know how to get to Riung, yet they helped us organize, drove us to the main road and waited for a car to stop for us even after the only bus had left… Also always up for a good convo. Food - vegan & very very delicious. Rooms clean and comfortable. Would stay here every day!!! Such a nice energy.

The bamboo huts are very nice but be prepared for mosquitos! In the evening they prepare a set of local dishes which you enjoy together with the owners and other guest. Great atmosphere!
