We felt like we had our own home in Rote, 2 min walk from T-land... it was surreal.The accomodation has everything you need for a couple, friends, or a family. Having our own kitchen meant we could enjoy cooking from the beautiful produce we sourced at the local markets which was really special.The staff were beyond helpful, as were Maria and Danny - especially when it came to surf knowledge.A day in the life at Keong looked like a dawny surf, nourishing breaky (Keong do amazing food packages with some of the best food in town), a very affordable and good quality massage just 2 min walk away, nap, read by the pool, surf, eat, sleep, repeat.This is the only place we will come back to in Rote! I had a great stay at Keong villas. Cristina and Dani just are the best hosts. They made sure I was always taken care of and had lovely suggestions of things to do in case there is no swell. They, together with Maria and Ertina, also helped me organizing my trip and overall just made sure that I could just relax and enjoy myself. I especially want to mention their lovely and attentive staff and great food as well!Dani is a very passionate surfer and told me a lot about T-Land and the other spots.It was really easy to get out to T-Land whenever I wanted because their boat is ready to go at any time of the day. Everything is very well organized.The villa I stayed at was very comfortable and clean in a quiet environment but still very close to the beach and some cafes and restaurants. And on hot days you can jump in their amazing long pool, just perfect! There is also a small yoga shala for having some exercise and nice stretching after a surf.Overall, Keong villas provide a fantastic getaway for those seeking a memorable vacation and surfing experience on the most beautyful remote paradise island. Thank you so much to the whole team, I will be back for sure!

A completely unique place, a very quiet place but close to all possibilities, a large villa, an ingeniously designed space, helpful staff, they even offered us an exchange for a family villa. breakfasts were very rich and varied. And the yoga space!!! Please add photo to another quests. Nothing to improve for us ;-) we recommend spending at least a week here, we will definitely come back.

Love this place so much, we stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave. I booked Keong because of their clear communication . Maria responded first amongst emails I sent to several hotels. with her informative helpful response I felt confident to book it. And I’m happy with my decision even more after seeing other places! Lovely Ertina and the team took great care of us with warmth and en-point service. Room is spacious, clean and beautiful. Having a kitchen was also really good. Traveling into Rote seemed quite complicated with no clear updated info available online. The Keong team eliminated this obstacle they booked all for us and we traveled hustle free. Huge thanks and I’ll be back for sure !

We just spent four nights at Keong Villas and we're already planning to go back.From the first contact with Maria, and throughout our entire stay, we found everyone at Keong to be outstandingly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.The villas resemble nautilus shells and are works of art. We found the villas perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids (with an extra bed set up downstairs). They each have a balcony, a kitchen (which we didn't use), a semi-outdoor bathroom (and separate upstairs en-suite). The villas blend indoor & outdoor living, and materials such as timber and stone, in a really beautiful way.We love the staff and environment at Keong Villas. Thank you Maria and team and see you soon!

Amazing experience, the best place I stayed in Indonesia with my 10 year old son.Attentive staff, excellent and very generous food.Dany reports every morning at dawn for the surf conditions and he will always find something to surf for you.Serious boat men who will never leave you alone on the surf spots.A superb, very professional team.You will find everything on site: surfing, scootering, transfers, yoga classes...absolutely everything.Located 2 minutes from the beach, it is a perfect place for families.Quiet….I'm going back next year!!!Go for it !!!!
