Very clean and modern rooms fully in line with European standards.We would come back at any time. The family is very nice and always helpful.The only small point: it's a little out of the way, so it's best reached by scooter in the evening

Lonely clean rooms and bathrooms, with pretty decor. The family running it are very helpful and do really tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are the usual chicken, occasional doggy and prayer noises but that is totally to be expected when staying in the countryside and adds a rustic feel to the stay. We loved it here ❤️

Lovely hotel, very clean and beautiful. Rooms are big and they get cleaned every day. The family that owns it are very nice and helpful, we booked a half day tour with them and the man brought us to lovely places, temples, waterfalls, rice fields, coffee plantations... It's located in an Indonesian village with no tourists, but you still have options to eat. 5 minutes from beautiful rice , perfect for a sunset walk. My partner and I had the best time and we 1000% recommend it!

The rooms were nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. The people managing the Homestay were also very friendly and nice. Only problem was the location. It was 10 mins away from Ubud centre.

I was able to take a good rest in a very nice space. The warm hospitality of the families and the cute children made my heart feel at peace☺️ The rooms were very clean, and the bed sheets, pillowcases, and bathrooms were also very clean. The desk on the terrace with the Buddha on it has become my favorite✨It's about a 10-15 minute bike ride to the center of Ubud, and it's located halfway between the center of Ubud and Tegalalang Rice Terrace, so I thought it was a good location for people who wanted to visit both.The roosters start crowing around 4am, so I naturally wake up early in the morning, which is good for me because I can wake up early and stay healthy🥰Drinks and food at affordable pricesThere is a menu that you can order from.Like being able to spend a day cooped up without having to go out.It’s also the environment 😊I will use it again 😊It was perfect for me! ✨✨

If getting around isn’t a problem then give it 5 stars. The location was a bit out of the way for us. That was on us not realizing exactly where we were. The home stay is beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. I realize that there are some people who are possibly working remotely and may have issues with internet. We came as tourists. The family is delightful! The grounds, small but charming. The rooms beautiful. The food, which we ordered dinner and it came with breakfast, ( such a deal), was delicious and fresh. Meals can be brought to your room or you can eat on their terrace.

Stayed only 1 night but was very satisfied. The rooms are spacious, cool, the owner's mother and father are very friendly. Very good for healing. There is a shared refrigerator. To get a complete meal, you have to ride a motorbike to the main road first. The biggest minus is that the parking lot is not spacious.

Love this place so much, room is spacious and very clean. Definitely a hidden gem. Ani ( I hope I spelled her name correctly) was a great host.Homestay situated in a more local area so its not that easy to walk out and find food like the area near monkey forest. So I actually ate in the homestay which the Indonesian food like mie goreng, nasi goreng were so good. I had a good rest for the 3 nights there.

This homestay is a hidden gem. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Balinese experience. It will immerse you in the local culture, language, and traditions. Each day starts with sounds of chickens and temple chimes. The location is just steps away from a sacred water temple, surrounded by lush green rice fields and temples. The local Balinese community is kind, open, and humble, always welcoming with a smile. I was so captivated by this experience that I extended my stay from 5 nights to a whole month!The family who runs this place is amazing. They know the area and can provide excellent recommendations for anything you need. I even had the best massage right in the comfort of my own room. You can organise everything directly with the family, from motorbike rental to site visits, etc. They will even take you to the local market and teach you how to cook Balinese food at home. Each day out exploring you come home to a beautiful clean room.I'm extremely grateful for this experience and feeling a bit sad that the month is coming to an end…. Terima kasih Umah Nik Family!

It’s a beautiful place with a very kind and warm- hearted family. On our first night we were invited to have dinner together. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The food is very delicious and they even bring it up to your room if you would like that. The location is great, not too close to Ubud but also not too far off, and there is a local temple nearby which is very quite and beautiful.Thank you so much for your kindness and the great experience!

We booked this place through Airbnb from 17th to 21st Sept’2023 for around 13,33,000 IDR.The hosts were lovely.Booking a hotel in the midst of nature yet centre of the city can be quite a task but not if you are planning to stay somewhere near Ubud coz Tegalalang is the perfect place amidst rice terrace and nature all around, where you will wake up to the clucking of hens. Its literally 6kms from Ubud market and still away from the hustle and bustle making it an ideal location if you wanna enjoy the serenity of the place. We were staying at UMAH NIK KEPITU which was a homestay taking care by a very friendly family who took care of everything. If you are a pet lover then this place is heaven for you as they have 4 dogs.And you have a lot of choices in Tegalalang ranging from resorts, hotels to air bnb depending on your preference you can opt for one. It’s a plus if you know how to ride a Scooty as transportation will be quite cheap. We used Grab bike taxi which was quite affordable.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was one of the best places we stayed in Bali.Best quality price. The room is nice and has everything you need and you with an outside area to have breakfast or meals if you wish.All the dishes offered are really very good.You also have the possibility of renting a scooter or visiting with the family to create your own tour to see the surroundings of Ubud for very reasonable prices (homestay 15 minutes from the city center).Note that the homestay is in a small village so you have to expect the sounds of the countryside (dog, rooster for example). You also hear the temple prayer which you get used to and which is part of the charm of the place.And for massage fans, we advise you to go through the homestay 140 IDR and the massages are among the best performed during our stay.We will come back with great pleasure and will recommend this homestay to those around us :)
