We spent 5 nights in this wonderful place. As the name says, it's a real retreat. It's a 10 minute drive out of the busy centre of Ubud with the free shuttle. The villa's are not adjacent to a road, so the only thing you hear are the natural sounds of the jungle and the ricefields. The property has two sides along a steep and canyonlike river.The part close to the entrance has two villa's and a common infinity pool and views over a lush garden/forest. We didn't stay there, we took the drupadi villa at the other side.It takes a 5 minute walk with steps down and up, through the garden and over the wooden bridge.This is the most wonderful part. You're in the middle of the ricefields in a beautiful modern house with stylish architecture and all the luxury you need. The swimming pool is surprisingly long and was good for my daily training. I've been to Bali many times, but have never found a place so peaceful and comfortable. Highly recommended.
