A great hostel! Very close to night bazar and sunset view hike. Across the street from a 7eleven. VERY clean and dorm rooms were quite spacious!

Both the bedroom and shower are thoroughly cleaned. Also, the staff is very responsive. If I stay in Mae Hong Son, I will choose this hostel next time.

The location is good, close to the night market, market, and 7-Eleven. Also, the owner was kind enough to talk to me, which made the trip enjoyable. The room is clean and I would like to use it again.

I had a very pleasant two night stay at the Saiyud hostel. This was probably the cleanest hostel I ever stayed at and the staff was also very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again if I’m in Mae Hong Son again.

Nice hostel with easy check in and friendly staff. The property looks quite new and therefore also clean and tidy. The beds are capsule style and have a socket and a bed light. There is obviously airconditioning and because the rooms are quite spacious you have some room to store your stuff or open your backpack. There is water available for free and in the morning you can grab some complementary coffee, tea and cookies. The morning market is around the corner for breakfast.

I recently spent a night at Saiyud Hostel and overall, found the stay quite pleasant. The place was clean and comfortable, and the owner was notably helpful and attentive, contributing to a positive environment.However, there were a couple of aspects that could be improved. The air conditioning was turned off quite early, causing me to wake up sweating, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the provided lockers were notably small, which could be a concern for guests with larger valuables.Aside from these minor inconveniences, my experience at Saiyud Hostel was largely positive and I found the rest of my stay to be perfect.

A Bikepacker's Review:Overall, I recommend Saiyud Hostel for solo or small groups of bikepackers. The town is great and there are plenty of fun out and back rides to keep you busy for at least two days. As you travel further south on the loop, the roads become a little less nice, so make sure you make the most of your time in MHS. Also, check out the Blind Massage place up the road (see my other review).Bicycle Security: 9/10Saiyud were great! They kept my bike locked up inside at night. I think they could do this for two bikes, but maybe check before bringing a large group. During the day the bike is visible but not on the street.Bicycle Facilities (pump, tools):Nothing available, but I was able to find a floor pump up the road and a good bicycle mechanic (see my other reviews)Safety and Ease of Access on 28c Road Tires: 10/10Enables Early Sleeping Without Disturbances (quiet room, quiet guests after 9pm): 8/10I stayed in the hostel room which was great, but all the surfaces are hard so sound bounces around. The mattress and the pillow make a fair bit of noise.Enables Early Waking Without Disturbing Others: 9/10Pretty easy to get up without disturbing others.Provides Early Breakfast: 10/10No, but you can get 5 baht waffles at the morning market from around 5.30am! They are great. I bought at least three.Vegetarian/Vegan Friendly:Plenty of vegan friendly food in the area.

Very nice qnd comfy hostel in the heart of Mae Hong Son runned by an even nicer family.Good size beds and bedrooms, not too many people in the same room and the toilets/showers are clean and are cleaned every day.Oat gave us also some good tips for the rest of the trip in Thailand.It is perfect if you are solo traveler but also a good option for couples.

very caring family running this hostel! bed and sheet are comfy and super clean. the host provided me information that I needed for my next destination and also for city tour. very good location - 3 mins walk to night market and next to local market where you can get local vibes.

It may be a bit far from the swamp, but it's easy to walk. The advantage is that it's close to the market, bathrooms, clean accommodations, and drinking water available. The owner gives good advice and is hospitable.
