The room was clean and shady. I stayed for 2 nights.But the air conditioner is not cool. The old air conditioner hasn't been cleaned for a long time. There is only wind, no refrigerant. I went to tell my aunt to change rooms.The first night it changed at night. But the other room is still not cool. Until having to turn on the fan to helpWoke up early so asked to change another room. Because I can't breatheAuntie said it was a big deal in front of us. Other people can still sleep without complaining. Um, I'm sorry, the air conditioner isn't cool. Do you want me to just put up with it and just lie down like that? I'm paying, but I'm not sleeping for free.The school should inspect and test the rooms.P.S. The entrance is very narrow. Newbies should have some marks.

2018: Romtaihouse is a one minute walk from the lake, yet very quiet. Not in the least because all the bungalows and rooms (different prices) are situated around a beautiful garden and lotus/fish pond. The owners are an extremely friendly & helpful elderly couple, the staff as friendly and helpful ("Clean room? Water? Towel?"). Very reasonably priced for what you get. First picture is the reception, seen from the road. The garden etc. lies behind.2024: In spite of being such a lovely place to start with, the owners keep updating Ban Romtai. They improved the self service coffee and cacao by moving it adjacent to the rooms/bungalows, reorganized the lotus/fish pond and made the garden even nicer.

The location is suitable in the heart of the city, next to the walking street, with clean views. The accommodation is organized very neatly. I like it.

Very nice guesthouse. Quite, clean and we'll organised. Good price and perfect location. Easy rooms but good mattress, Aircon, very friendly staff, good WiFi and very clean. Great place. Thank you very much!

A really nice guesthouse, good spaciouse rooms with aircon and hot water. A pleasant garden with a large pond and free morning coffee. Very convenient for the night market. Laundry and shops close by. The owner can arrange taxis.

The hotel is next to the temple, 1 min from the night market.The rooms are decent and they are very clean.Price is reasonable and Wi-Fi very fast.Definitely recommend!!

Beautiful garden, attentive staff with a friendly atmosphere close to the centre with a night market very near by. Lots of parking for cars and bikes. Comfy bedding in a basic classroom sized room (including a fridge and slow draining sink).

The worst accommodation I’ve been to during my north of Thailand trip. I was given very old and deteriorated room, happy that I slept there only one night. Ants and bugs were in the shower, some also in the bed.When I payed for the night (300bth) the lady on the reception returned me the correct change only on third try when I told her that it should be 700bth back. I don’t know whether she could not know how to count, was distracted by previous customer or if it was on purpose. Still, bad feeling stayed.

Price is half a thousand, air conditioned room with water heater. 1 bed, 2 mattresses The bathroom is reasonably wide. Close to Nong Chong Kham and Wat Kong Mu.

It is a place to stay with a beautiful shady atmosphere. The rooms have complete amenities and are clean. It's like being in a garden with flowers. The lotus pond is dotted with marble horses. The parking lot can park about ten cars. But the way to enter the parking area is a bit difficult because the road is narrow and you have to make sharp turns. The largest vehicles that can enter (parking lot) are vans. If it's bigger than this, park on the road in front. Overall, it's considered usable. It's still close to "Nong Chong Kham Public Park." In the evening, there's a walking street with products and food and drinks available. Choose Peaceful, shady, not expensive.
