Awesome spot, nice and quiet but still walkable to old town. Room was really clean, had a little balcony and we could see the big Buddha on the hill in the distance! Staff were really helpful and friendly, fantastic value for money!

highly recommend cool residence! our double room was surprisingly spacious. huge bed, desk, wardrobe, fridge, and a bathroom with a fantastic rainfall shower. the balcony was a nice extra for enjoying the fresh air. the only downside was the air conditioner - it seemed a bit old and struggled a bit during the heatwave.however, the staff were absolute stars, especially the receptionist who was super friendly and helpful. the location is good - quiet street near shops and local restaurants. phuket's old town is a 20-minute walk, but easily doable, and you can always grab a cheap ride there with grab or so.

Thanks to all the staff, a very, very cozy hotel. We were welcome every day, we lived for 29 days and it was wonderful!The parking is good, the pool is always clean and cozy, the water pressure is always excellent!I definitely recommend it to everyone!There is a good lookout nearby, the views from it are beautiful!

Taiwanese New Year travel to Phuket, Thailand. There were 7 of us staying. 4 rooms. Generally good. Well worth the stay. Quiet - free light breakfast included. There are also motorcycles that can be rented in conjunction with the hotel. 300 baht 24 hours a day.

We stayed at Cool Residence for 3 weeks, right from the start the staff and owner, did everything to make us feel welcome, even helped us with early check in after a very long Journey, arranged Taxi for the return trip to airport too.Housekeeping were super efficient.Rooms Are excellent, we had A room on the 3'rd floor, and the view over Phuket City was great, small private balcony, cosy Pool area, good location (we had scooter), this is one of the Best priced hotels I have ever stayed in.All In All this hotel was A part of the puzzle that made our stay really great...🤗

Pleasant hotel size, even with a small pool where you can cool off after a warm, humid day. There is a free small breakfast (complementery breakfast). Very friendly staff, noticeably friendly even for Thailand! And it is also really very clean in all areas (which was important for us because we were there with a baby and the standards of cleanliness were therefore very high). We recommend.

Cool Residence is situated just outside of Phuket Town and is a very good budget hotel to set as your base for exploring the area. Whilst it is a little way out of town, and a car or bike would be preferable as transport, you can still easily and economically get around by using a taxi app such as inDrive. We used inDrive for a number of trips into Phuket Town and surrounding areas with the average fare generally around the 100 baht mark, so good value. Cool Residence sits directly opposite Khao Rang, an area you can spend hours exploring, and it is of course famous for its monkeys. There are two very good restaurants atop Khao Rang, Tunk-ka Café and Khao Rang Breeze. They are both well worth a visit, especially at sunset, as they offer sweeping views of Phuket Town, Chalong Bay and the Panwa Peninsula. The hotel itself looks quite modern and has been well maintained. There are four floors and it has an elevator. We stayed in a room overlooking Khao Rang. Our room was bright, airy, spacious, spotlessly clean and had all we needed for a comfortable stay, including kettle, TV with many channels including western, decent workstation, dining table, good sized fridge, large wardrobe and comfortable double bed with side lamps and power sockets both sides. There is also a room safe and the AC is efficient and quiet. The bathroom is a good size with two shower heads in the shower, one standard with a flexi line and one rain head shower. Water pressure and temperature control was good. Tea, coffee and bottled water were provided daily and cleaning can be done daily if required. The only issue really was WIFI. At times we found ourselves switching connections to get a better reception eg 4.1 or 4.2. There is a swimming pool on the ground floor but it is very small but ok for cooling off after a hot day. Between 730am and 10am the hotel provides complimentary breakfast which we loved. There is tea, coffee, juice, toast, cereal and boiled eggs. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Diagonally across the road is a small shop where you can pick up essentials and there are many laundrettes in the area. The nearest main road, Mae Luan, is a two or three minute walk away and here and if you do a little exploring, you will find many Thai eateries, food stalls, coffee shops, convenience stores etc. We loved our stay here and as a budget accommodation base we can highly recommend Cool Residence.
