A tent camp with very well-kept signs, kiosk, bar, coffee house and many nice places to linger. Pool with water from a spring next to the river, a little muddy, but very clean, chlorine-free, soft water.

Room was amazing. Food was really good. But not a good place in wet season as we were unable to have the BBQ as it rained earlier and river was over flown and had a lot of sewage due to rain meaning we couldn’t kayak.

We absolutely loved our time (3 days) at the Hintok River camp - it took the glamping experience to a whole new level! The camp is in the middle of the jungle (so be prepared for mosquitos) and is steeped in history. It is on the site of an old prisoner of war camp and there is a fascinating little museum which is definitely worth a visit. It is also only a couple of KM from Hell Fire Pass which was an incredibly moving experience. The grounds were beautifully tended and the views stunning. We loved the freshwater pool and the food (and cocktails) were great. We had lovely (very reasonably prices) Thai massages and made good use of the laundry service.
