I've stayed in thousands of hotels throughout the universe and after reading some of the comments here, have decided there are many far too precious ppl. Our stay has been great, it is apparently one of the original resorts here, it's surrounded in rain forest, pool is awesome and large. Food was as good as in the city area. Rooms were clean and adequate, and large. Really no complaints. Only downside is taxi required to main town, though walking o er the bridge is possible .Be sure to visit the war museum. One of the ladies who owns it is the daughter of the man who built it after the ww11 ended.

Stayed here as part of an organised tour. Like many other reviews, the hotel is fine but dated and the food is ok. The staff, in fairness, try their best and deserve a lot of praise!!Wouldn't stay again in the future, but appreciated the balcony, the location and the staff!!

A gigantic hotel on a wooded park of very good quality, however the hotel is too old, the rooms, the bedding was not comfortable, the bathroom was completely passable, the equipment was all old and did not inspire confidence. We found it much more comfortable in a 3 star hotel, the breakfast was good but passable, not worth the price except perhaps for the location but that's the only thing.Pleasant service but ultimately like everywhere in Thailand

Took the luxury suite, very spacious with large balconies overlooking the sad river Kwai. The kitchen isn’t great, eat out if you can. I’ll be back

We had low expectations with this hotel, we saw it as old, and we were afraid that it would be neglected. But we were greatly surprised by how well preserved it is, although it is true that it needs renovation (at least in the rooms).I recommend taking a walk around the complex and getting to know every corner, especially near the river.Dinner at the restaurant, delicious! We took the opportunity to have a massage, which was at a very good price for a hotel service.

It is a resort with a good location and very spacious. The rooms are clean. But the breakfast is not very delicious. It is next to the Kwai Yai Bridge, a Chinese temple, can walk away.
