The location is absolutely beautiful. Basic bungalows, but clean and spacious. Free kayak to explore the area. There are also a free pool table and table tennis. Staff is very helpful and kind-hearted. We would love to come back, it feels like a little hidden paradise.

Very good accommodation, reasonable price Friendly staff The owner takes really good care of it. Definitely go again. The food in the accommodation is good, the pizza is very delicious, the price is also very good, really recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Staff friendly, they reflect the attitude you give them, one staff member speaks some English and can partially problem solve, the rest are nice but completely illiterate people. Pool table is nice to use. We had room 7, do not rent this room. The windows are wooden with no sealed fly screen, you either have insects or air. The view is nice when you have the windows open of the beach and reception. You can see through the floor, bugs can freely enter, I recommend a can of bug spray, insecticide the room before you go to dinner, the toilet leaks at the base making the bathroom floor wet. The shower was hit and miss i needed to reset the shower heater 5 times, finally it worked. Sometimes the toilet won't flush leaving you poo for the next person. The bathroom features black mold, they don't clean properly but I guess that's what you expect. The restaurant kitchen is filthy, I wouldn't eat a meal here, broken crockery left on the floor, old bottles and bottle tops litter the reception area the fridge filthy dirty. Overall the stay was pleasant once you get used to their living standards

Such beautiful sunset beach with free kayak. Pretty nice to stay & chill. We stayed in dome which face to the beach that can hear wave whole day & night. Food that we ordered twice that really recommended is baguette, pizza & tomyum. Cute dogs “Monkey& Minnie” to play around. The owner & staffs are so friendly & really have service mind. If having chance, we will be back again. 😊😊

We had rented the old bungalow, which was unfortunately very sparsely equipped and full of insects (including red ants in the bed and in the bathroom). Unfortunately there was no mosquito net. The new bungalows are probably better, at least they looked nice and modern from the outside.Apart from our bungalow, the Home Hug is recommended. Shuttle to and from the pier is free. The beach is very beautiful and perfect for watching the sunset. The employees are very nice and hardworking. There is a pool table, a table football table and a table tennis table that you can use for free.

Perfect location near one end of Ao Kao beach. The two rooms we were in were large and comfortable. Only 4 staff seem to work there. They work hard and are pleasant and helpful. Internet was spotty at some places on the property. There are places to eat a short walk on the beach. It's also a short walk to the road (more shops and restaurants) if you walk through White Sands next door, not the dirt road you came in on. At low tide you can walk over 2.5 km on the beach. Great sunsets, and a good stay.

Small complex with bungalows directly on the private beach. The bungalows are equipped and furnished with everything you need. Great view of the beach and sea from the roof terrace. Mr. Leak (manager / man for everything on site) is available to help and advise. Transfer from the pier and back is included. Great and warm service. Here you can just relax and unwind ☀️🌴👍🏼Top: Rent a scooter to explore the island.

Nice location and beautiful beach, but not so well maintained complex. Behind the bungalows with a sea view, rubble and ashes from destroyed bungalows are piled up. The path from the island's main road to HomeHug is made of red sandstone. When it rains, your shoes and clothes are covered in red mud.The bathroom is so humid that it is already full of mold.During the rain and storm, the floor of the bungalow suddenly became wet.The mattresses were very hard and overall the furnishings of the bungalows were very simple and uncomfortable.Even though the staff was always friendly and helpful, no one spoke English, which meant that all communication had to be done via WhatsApp with Quan. The room wasn't cleaned once in the 4 days and the towels weren't changed either.Overall, we had better accommodation in Thailand for less money.

Best place to have a cozy and wonderful vacation on Koh Mak!Clean and beautiful accommodations near or direct on the private beach.Relaxed near beach bar with everything soul and heart needed.Plus top organized and super friendly service and staff.We have extended our stay there, because it is just the best place on the island.We will come back soon!Highly recommended!!!
