We booked this accommodation for 7 nights in March 2024. It is located on a side street about a 15-minute walk from Khlong Prao Beach or the restaurants along the main street and is family-run by the Swede Peter and his Thai partner.Several small bungalows with terraces are lined up in lush greenery. An open reception with a meeting point for a nice chat and a good Swedish coffee or cool drinks is located at the front of the complex.We had the second bungalow. It was clean and functionally furnished, had a refrigerator, sink, AC, kettle, shower and toilet. Both beds had good mattresses.We were happy about the warm atmosphere, the recommendations for restaurants, the exchange of experiences with the host and other guests for free coffee in the morning and the invitation to a BBQ once a week.We felt very comfortable and would like to come back at any time.

Peter and Ae are the best hosts on Ko Chang. I was many times on this island and never had better service and more cozy place to stay. Highly recommend👍

I had a great stay at Papaya Cottage. Clean and comfortable bungalow, just off the main road. Surprisingly close to Klong Prao beach (The owner will show you the way). Owner and staff are very friendly and super helpful. If you're not looking for a big resort, but more of a relaxed homey atmosphere, this is a great choice

Strategically, it is a very good place if you plan to travel a lot with a scooter or a car.The hosts are nice and helpful.The houses are neat and clean.It is a short walk to the beach.

Really helpful friendly staff, whether it's renting a motorbike or finding a spot to eat and relax Peter and his team were able to suggest and help with it all. Clean rooms with a great atmosphere, an additional bonus is the efforts made towards recycling. Good to see this (virtually non existent in Thailand currently).*Additional message for Peter (I would have said this in person if we had had a chance to talk before we left).*Think about your audience when discussing certain things with guests. For the most part Peters ethical values and appreciation of Thai culture were respectful. Having said that unfortunately some generalisations about different genders and cultures in the presence of my Thai/German female partner felt quite outdated and left us both with a bad taste in the mouth. This is a shame as Peter is clearly a caring chatty host and does everything to make sure you feel welcome.

Excellent in every sense, the room was clean and had a children's bed which was also comfortable for storing clothes, the location was excellent as well as being in a quiet area without noise and a 5 minute walk from the beach, three minutes from restaurants and shops , and is about 2 km from Kay Way by scooter, then there is Peter the owner of the cottage, an extraordinary person who is very helpful and kind to answer our every problem like all his staff, on Saturday evening he organized a dinner for all his guests great offer from him based on fish and Thai dishes Peter thanks 🙏 for everything highly recommended.

The owner was great, he gave me tons of information about the island, they have a dog who is friendly. It's a very quiet location just off a main road, restaurants and fruit shops are nearby as are motorbike rental shops. The rooms are nice, Aircon is good, shower was ok, water was not hot, but not a big issue. Not sure about the WiFi as I have a SIM card. They have a laundry service which was handy, if you want a quiet place to relax but also not too far from nice beaches and restaurants then this is a great choice.

Super nice area and lovely staff. Pamela is such a wonderful host and always around if you have any issues or need that extra tip for your next adventure. Stayed here already three times and would always return into this family-like atmosphere. This is a true gem!

Structure expertly managed by Pamela, a professional hotelier who knows how to make your stay truly special. Staff helpful and always smiling.The structure offers various services such as laundry (cheap but fast and quality service), excursions, motorbike rent and also organizes any transfers for other trips on the island and on the mainland.Located in a small internal street, away from the noise and chaos, where you can relax but at the same time very close to restaurants and the beach.The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped (large refrigerator, silent and efficient air conditioning, private terrace, a large coat hanger).Absolutely recommended for a short stay...but also a long one 😉..on the island of Koh Chang.
