Sea Escape Koh Chang (ซี เอสเคป เกาะช้าง)

The hotel is fantastic located next to the sea and the main street market.People in the hotel are really nice too you don't know where they are but it you need something they are always next to you trying to help.Always a smile. The inland was pretty as big forest everywhere, waterfalls, beaches, food, etc.If I can afford for come back in the future for sure I will come again.Now me and my wife feel pity for leaving the inland.Thailand great country but about all great people.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay! We immediately fell in love with the island and the Sea Escape. You immediately feel at home. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful.Thanks to its good location on the west coast, you can reach everything pretty quickly by taxi or scooter. Restaurants and a 7-Eleven are also around the corner.Kai Bae Beach is right in front of the resort and now in the rainy season we had it all to ourselves. It was wonderful! We will definitely come here again at the next opportunity!

The accommodation is clean and tidy. All staff provide very good service, the view is very beautiful, the atmosphere is good, suitable for relaxing.

It is a place to stay that meets the needs of people who want peace. The accommodation is at the end of Kai Bae Beach. The entrance is a bit confusing because you have to pass another hotel.Accommodation is a small bungalow house. But it's comfortable, the air conditioner is very cool, the water is strong, the bed is comfortable.We stayed in a beach front room and lay down listening to the sound of the waves, very chill. The sunset view is beautiful. But in the afternoon it will be a little hot.Too many lizards But I can understand it.

Cute bungalows for a good price. Nice beach, very friendly receptionist!!! Please install a restaurant instead of new bungalows!!!

This is just a piece of paradise. Stylish design, comfortable houses that have everything you need. We lived in house 10, it is secluded from the rest and has a good view of the sea. Clean wild empty beach with clear sea and white sand. Stunning sunset every day. Pleasant and helpful staff. You can rent a scooter right at the reception. Good breakfasts that can be brought to your room. Try delicious ice cream at the reception)

I am surprised to see that my review was deleted. That should tell you enough about wanting to stay here or not.I stayed for a longer duration in one of their bungalows in October. Generally, I had a nice stay and staff at the reception were nice. Unfortunately, there was a strong sewer smell in my bungalow, coming from the sink and toilet (also mentioned by other guests in reviews on Booking), but that can happen. Maybe due to the rainy season. The next day, the problem was acknowledged (!) and I was moved to another bungalow (reception closed early, so I could not do that the same day). However, as those in my category were not available anymore, I was downgraded. All fine. All minor things. However, upon check-out, I noticed that I was not refunded the price difference between the bungalows... it was just 400 THB, but when I asked for that money back (and here it comes) the owner threatened to bring in the police! It was as ridiculous as it sounds. These problems can happen in every hotel/bungalow park/etc. (smell, other things)... if thís is how a property handles a common problem like that, which can happen to anyone, really think twice before staying here! A tourist in a property nearby (Sea View, not Sea Escape) was detained (!) after police was brought in after he posted a negative review online. That fact made the threat by the owner even more serious for me. I therefore decided to let it go. Now that I'm writing this thing again from home, I am really just flabbergasted by how unnecessarily bad this was all handled. Would it just have been handled normally (I have been polite and very understanding too, during my whole stay), I would even have left as a very happy guest! Wow.I assume that they will try to remove this review as well or, if that (hopefully) does not happen, respond in a way that makes them look better. Be warned. And, advice: don't stay here.Edit: Property probably could not delete this review (fortunately) and responded below; I just want to make clear that there has never been any threathening or even rude or demanding behaviour from my side (not in any digital, nor face-to-face communication), it was actually the opposite (very friendly staff at the reception btw!) and I have always tried to be as nice as possible, despite actual threats from the owner. Simply lies, I can only assume for the purpose of making the property look better after they could not remove my review again. However, I will refrain from removing this review just to 'save face' from a lie, because this way of running a business (i.e., writing such things in a response-review, etc.) is very unethical. What a happy world it would be if everybody could be just a tiny bit nicer to each other :D

The room should be prepared before guest arrivals, most importantly, have the AC on before check in. As a guest you have to decide whether you lock your room when. You go out and come back to an oven, or keep your room unlocked for the AC to stay on. Overpriced in my opinion and they are charging you for the location only. Next to it, you can find other hotels for cheaper rates and get the exact same accessibility. The hotel offer very little options for in room dining

The hotel boasts a stunning view. The staff was exceptionally accommodating, and the food was excellent. The room was not only comfortable but also newly furnished. It is definitely worth every penny.
