If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is what you're looking for. You can always get to the beach either by taxi or by motorbike.The staff is nice and helpful.

Old hotel but cheap priceup to what is needed with air conditioning, the well-maintained swimming pool in a small garden.. good, very quiet locationFar from the center for those who like to party, go your way!!!In our room I don't know the other bed incredibly hard!!! but we sleep well there

Big room for the price, bed was extremely stiff though. Location not the best, good restaurant across the street. Near BangBao pier for more restaurants etc. A bit far from the other towns for drinks etc.

I am presently staying at this hotel I know from before here in Bang Bao, and I will try to explain what gets people and comments confused.This hotel is a real hotel and was long called "Alysia Spring resort", located on the main street in Bang Bao, Ko Chang, not far from the Temple. It now appears on Booking and Agoda as "Aree resort" and the sign in front of the hotel has been changed to "Aly resort" (a few letters were taken down, "Aly" and "Aree" are pronounced the same in Thai).Rooms as of January 2024 go for about 700 baht, including WIFI, AC, and a nice and clean swimming pool, so the rate is really honest. The reception is a bit akward, as the lady does not speak well English, but you will be lead to a clean room with all amenities.ATTENTION:DO NOT BOOK ONLINE IF YOU SEE "OYO 1139" before the name, and if the hotel is listed as being in "White Sands beach". This is a SCAM, which will lead to your bank card being charged but does not connect to the real hotel in Bang Bao. Some crook is using pictures of the hotel, along with pictures of another hotel in White Sands, in order to charge your credit card. AVOID BOOKING THEN.To avoid the confusion, the hotel owner was forced to list his hotel under a new name, "AREE RESORT" (on Booking and on Agoda). BOOK ONLY "AREE RESORT", this will lead you to a very decent place in BAng Bao, for a good rate. The pictures of the swimming pool are real. The rooms are clean. You get a fridge, AC, and a large room with a balcony.I hope this will help the next travelers, as it got me quite confused, but as I knew the hotel from before, I returned there and was happy.Just avoid when you see "AYO" in the title, and remember the hotel is in Bang Bao and not in White Sands (there is nothing there).
